In my profile, it says that I am not a member of any public groups. So, whats up with that?

It doesn't really mean anything, it's just a hang-over from the code this forum uses, an option not really used.

I may be wrong in this, but we use catagories instead - like "Artist" and "Writer" etc, rather than groups.

what RobM says is true, however if it was set up (which it isnt) we would be able to allow publically joinable usergroups, its not something lve played with nor have l ever really seen the point of it altho one or two places l hang at do use it...

suffice to say its part of the script and Ai and myself dont see the point of coding it for it to be added when we upgrade at later dates and having to redo the same edits again.
