The Punishment (Anyone can join)

"thanks Buddy,' said Daniel, hugging him and tossling his hair. he reache over and moved Hector's plate and glass within the lads each. "I think I'll keep yyou here with me," he said. "At least SOMEBODY around her is on my side. Short help is better than no help!"

"It's 4 to 2. I'm afraid that won't help you much daddy. The fairer sex wins" Andy laughted and stood up from the table

"Yeah, besides, you have, you and a Hector. Five and really old. We have mom, two teenage girls and a ten year old. We definitly win." Cassia said with a grin. She stood and opened the dishwasher so she could put lunch stuff in and run it.

Hector was happy as a clam sitting on his Daddy's knee and getting to eat from there. It had been a little while since he got to eat riding his Father's lap and he was perfectly content.

He chewed a mouthful of pizza, squirming around a bit as to assure himself that he was really there, sitting on his Dad's lap - just like sitting on a throne! Even better!

Hector's mouth was somewhat covered with tomato sauce as he heard Andy say, "It's 4 to 2. I'm afraid that won't help you much daddy. The fairer sex wins" and the laugh.

Hector opened his mouth to say something, but Cassia broke in with...."Yeah, besides, you have, you and a Hector. Five and really old. We have mom, two teenage girls and a ten year old. We definitly win."

Hector looked up at his Daddy and then taking another juicy bite of pizza, a little oil running down his chin, said boldly, "Nuh uh! You don't win, Cassia, 'cause girl can't play good as boys and Daddy and me are BOYS!!"

Daniel laughed, but tried to give Cassia a stern look. "Really old?" he asked. "Maybe we should see how much strength my "really old" arm still has in it!"

Mel smoothed Hectors hair and wiged his face. "Sweetie,' she said, teasinngly. "I HOPE you aren't saying boys are better than girls."

Hector twisted his head about as his Mommy wiped his face, but Melanie held the back of his head and did a thorough job.

"Mommy, stop! I'm clean," the little boy whined. Then, when she was done, he grinned at her words and said impishly, "'course boys are better'n girls, Mommy. We're better because (He began to count off on his little fingers.) we're smarter, stronger, we could play ball better and we .....(he fished in his mind for another reason and then grinning even more broadly said it)...and we don't have to sit down to make pee pee!"

"Well, DADDY doesn't," Mel teased. "I know a certain little boy who's legs are too short for him to do it standing up!" she turned to Cassia. "And by the way, young lady. I am only a year younger than your father. So wouldn'tthat make ME really old too? Think carefully!"

"Keep in mind mum that you don't LOOk like you were only a year younger than dad, so I guess that doesn't caunt" she winked at her sister and smiled

Hector's little mouth twisted to one side as he considered his Mommy's rejoinder. It was TRUE. Hector was not yet able to make pee pee standing up...at least not at home.

He still sometimes needed help getting up on the potty and getting his pants and undies down on time.

The only time Hector got to pee standing up was when Daniel took him to the men's room and stood him at the urinal. Then his Daddy pulled down his pants and underpants and stood behind him helping to aim his little wee wee at the right place.

Daniel had learned this was best to do after he had stood Hector there and, in the midst of watering the porcelain, the little boy had turned rapidly to tell his father something!!

"I'm gonna stand on a stool so I can make pee pee standing up at home!" Hector announced out loud.

It was clear that the little boy was now obsessed with proving this particular 'superiority.'

"Well, we'll see about that Buddy,' said Daniel. "I'm not sure how safe it is for you to try that though." He turned to the girls. "Oh, you're both just a laugh riot today! Maybe I need to show you both just how old and feeble your dad is!"
