Hector dropped his fork with a clatter.

"A TOY CONVENTION," the little boy said, completely forgetting the quiet game. He slid quickly out of his booster seat and hurried over to his Father's chair. Hector grabbed his Daddy's hand and held it in both of his.

"DADDY! DADDY! PLEASE TAKE ME. I NEVER SAW A TOY CONVENTION. MOMMY CAN STAY HOME AND TAKE CARE OF ANDY, RIGHT MOMMY!" Hector suddenly had an inspiration in his sublime little boy selfishness and added, " WE CAN GET A TOY TO ANDY FOR ANDY AND THEN SHE'LL BE ALL BETTER!"

Cassia jumped when her little brother dropped his fork and cringed away from the loud noise.

"Hector!" Daniel said softly, putting his hand over his son's mouth to stop the noise. "If you act like that I am not going to take you. Andromeda is trying to sleep, I'm sure you would not be happy if she was screaming when you were trying to sleep. You know better than that, if you continue to act that way, not only will we not be going but you will be getting an attitude adjustment." he said delivering a smack to his son's clothed behind. "Go sit down and finish eating."

"Mel, you could take Cassia and Hector, just so they would be out of the house. I will stay here with Andy." Daniel offered, looking towards his wife.

"Is that realy ok? I mean I don't know... won't Andy be sad if we just go without her?" Melanie asked looking concerned. It was suposed to be a day they would spend together but now that Andy was sick. Melanie didn't like the idea of putting her daughter out of the fun, especialy becouse of an illnes.

"Actualy I would feel bad if you don't go just becouse of me" Andy said meakly entering the kitchen. "Don't worry, Hector didn't wake me. I couldn't realy fall asleep and I wanted to get something to drink" she said quickly as she saw her father frowning at the boy. "You have to go. Have fun and bring me something nice from the convention" she said smiling and went slowly to a cabinet to get herself a glass.

Hector slunk back to his seat, rubbing his bottom. He climbed up, rubbed his eyes for a second and then picked up his fork again.

When Andromeda came in and said that he hadn't awakened her, Hector's lower lip trembled and the little boy said, "I'm sorry I was loud, Andy!"

Then he looked at his Father and said, "I'm sorry, Daddy. Are you mad at me?"

"Mel, I'll stay here and you guys can go, Andy said it was okay herself." Daniel said, "Her and I will hang out and watch movies all day and she can sleep to her hearts content. Won't it be fun kid?" The man directed the last bit to his daughter.

Cassia jumped in then, "Mom, it will be fun, you me and Hector, cruising the toys and all that jazz."

"I certainly hope so" Andy said smiling at her father and went slowly to the table. She felt a little dizzy, but managed to sit down without any accidents

"Fine, we go. But you two are to behave" she said sternly but smiled "We certainly bring you back something nice dear" she said to Andy and then looked at her husband "Make sure she actualy gets some sleep, as I know our daughter that might not be so easy" she said to him, causing Andy to frown. Her mother told the truth, it's not that Andy didn't like to sleep, she just hated to stay in bed when sick, what got her into trouble not only once.

Hector slid off his seat, having finished 'most of his eggs' and half of his glass of milk. He went up to his father and raised his arms to be lifted into his Daddy's lap.

"Daddy, are you still mad at me," the little boy said, in a quiet voice. "I'm sorry I was loud. I'm gonna find a really great toy for Andy. Don't you think she'd like a Power Rangers figure?" He grinned impishly.

"Me? Mad at you? No way, kiddo. You just need to behave today, okay? And you need to ask her if she likes power rangers because I am not sure." Daniel said picking his little guy up and hugging him on his lap.

Cassia smiled, "Yay!" She said finishing up her eggs and draining her glass.

"Good, since everybody is done I say we can go" Melanie said standing up and put the empty plates into the sink. "Cassia, take your brother and get ready while I do the dishes" she said smiling at her children "And you Andy, up into bed. I know you can't sleep, but at least rest some and keep yourself warm"

Andy made no move to even stand up "I don't want to spend the whole day laying in bed, I'm fine." she said stubbornly

As Hector's hand was taken by Cassia, who lead him away to get dressed, the little boy looked up at her and said, "Cassia, don't you think Andy would like a Power Ranger figure? Huh?"

Then turning his head, the little boy called out to his sister, "Andy, I'll get you anything you want...do you want a Power Rangers figure??"
