Daniel was more than happy to take Melanies suggestion. He hated grounding the kids (Well, the girls. Hector was still too young for grounding.) even more than he hated spanking them. With a spanking, it hurt, they cried, he forgave them, and it was over fairly quickly, normally, but with a grouinding there could be hurt feelings and resentment, so he mostly used it as a last resort. Or, sadly, when he lost his temper. They started into the kitchen to give Andy her pardon, but stood in the doorway for a minute, basking in the beautiful sight of their three children working together.

Hector was getting frustrated, everyone was doing things and now Cassia had taken away his pasta pot.

"Hey!" the little boy said stamping his foot (a definite "no" "no" in their house) I wanna make the pasta!"

Hector started dragging a kitchen chair to the counter and climbed up on it. The little boy pushed his sister. "No fair! I wanna make the pasta!"

"Oh, for heavens sake!" said Daniel, wh had been enjoying the show until now. He walked up to Hector. "Hector!" he scolded. "We do NOT stamp our feet in this house, nor do we push people! Now you apologise to Cassia right now!"

Unnoticed by anyone, a slip of paper had fallen from Cassias pocket when Hector pushed her.

Andy noticed the paper and picked it up. "Cassia, you dropped something" she said holding her hand out to her sister

When Hector pushed her, a little of the hot water splashed from the pot onto her skin. Even if it wasn't boiling yet, it came out of the tap hot enough to burn. "Ow! Fuck!" She cried, dropped the pot of water on accident. It splashed out over the counter and onto the floor. Cassia had to jump back to avoid getting hit again. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry." She said looking at the floor .

"Thanks Andy," She said, taking the paper from her sister and putting it into her back pocket, too preoccupied to remember what was on it.
