Andy didn't notice Cassia had sweared as she was rather preocupied with what she read on the paper scrap. "So Cassia, who's Brian Davis?" she asked smirking at her twin

Daniel walked angrily up to his little boy and said, "Hector! We do NOT stamp our feet in this house, nor do we push people! Now you apologise to Cassia right now!"

Hector, still on the counter, looked at the spilled water and then at his Father towering over him. the little boy lowered his face and put out his lower lip in a familiar pout.

In a small voice, hardly more than a whisper, Hector said, "I don't wanna, 'pologize Daddy." Then he climbed off his chair and stood at his Daddy's feet. Hector had gone, as little boys often do, from being eager and happy to being stubborn.

"I don't wanna 'pologize, 'cause Cassia took MY pasta pot!" Hector raised his voice and looked up at his Father. He pointed at Cassia, "You should make Cassia 'pologize."

Neither Daniel nor Melanie had missed Cassias swearing, however. they exchanged glances, and seemed to have a conversation with thier eyes.
"Hector," said Daniel, since he was the one who had already been dealing with Hector. "Cassia did NOT take your pasta pot. She asked you to bring the pot to HER. By pushing her you made her burn herself, causing her to use a naughty word. So now you are BOTH going to get punished. I am going to take you to your room and spank you after you have apologised to Cassia. If you don't apologise I'm going to spank you right here until you do, and THEN I'm going to give you ANOTHER spanking in your room. Choose."

Melanie sighd. She really didn't want to spank Cassia for this, and if she had said "Damn" or maybe even "Shit" she probably wouldn't. But Cass had dropped the f-bomb, and that couldn't be ignored. "Cassia," she said. "After Hector apologises, I want you to go upstairs and put some aloe on that burn. Then I want you to go and wait for me in your room."

Hector's eyes got large and filled with tears. He looked up at his Daddy whose stern expression made the little boy quail.

It was hard for a little boy to think about how he had caused Cassia to spill the hot water. In his little head, she had spilled it because she had taken the pasta pot. Inside of himself Hector thought, "Oooh, I don't wanna spankin'!" but aloud he only said quietly, "If Cassia says 'Sorry,' then I'll say it too."

"Hector, don't try to negotiate with me," said Daniel sternly, getting the wooden spoon out ofthe drawer. "Cassia didn't do anything wrong, at least until she swore, so she has nothing to apologise to you for. Now, are you going to apologise to Cassia for pushing her?"

Hector watched every move his Daddy made and began winding his little hands together when his Father took out the wooden spoon. Hector had felt that spoon on his bare bottom as he lay in his Daddy's or Mommy's lap and he didn't want to feel it again.

But the little boy dug in and said, "She gotta say sorry first! She MADE me push her."

"Ok Hector, have it your way," said Daniel, picking the boy up and carrying him over to one of the chairs around the table. He sat down and pulled Hectors pants and underwear down around his knees, and put him over his knee. He gace Hector ten swats, five on each of his bottom cheeks with the spoon. SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! "NOW are you going to apologise to Cassia?" He asked.

While all this was going on, Melanie got out the mop and the bucket to clean up the mess Cassia had accidently made.

Hector trembled when his Daddy carried him over to the chair, sat down and took down the little boy's pants and tiny briefs and lifted him across his lap.

Hector felt Daddy's arm around him and then the sharp

SWAT! SWAT! SWAT! as the wooden spoon made him little bare bottom jump and sting.

The little boy burst into tears and struggled as hard as he could, but he was held fast in his Father's lap.

"Owww owwww. OWWWWWW! BAAWWW! I'm sorry, Cassia! I'm sorry!" the little boy howled, trying to reach around and cover his bottom, only Daddy's arm blocked that.

Daniel gave Hector another three swats on each cheek with the spoon, then stood up with the little guy under his arm. He walked over and sat the spoon on the counter. He looked at Melanie and gestured towards Cassia. "I thought you might need this." Then he turned and carried Hector up to his room, sat down on Hectors bed putting the little guy over his knee, and began spanking him with his hand. He gave him another ten swats, again five on each cheek. He spanked hard enough fo Hector to know he was being punished, but made sure not to spank hard enough to really hurt the little guy. After the ten swats, he stopped. "Hector, do you know why you're getting a spanking?" he asked.

Andy looked wide eyed. She knew Hector was in trouble right when Daniel scolded him, the boy was just too stubborn for his own good, but she realy didn't hear Cassia swear. It would be funny on some other issue considering that stubborness was actualy in the family. She had gotten her spanking earlier becouse of it too.

She tryed to cover her ears as Daniel started spanking the poor boy in the kitchen, but she couldn't block out the sound. She instincktly jumped on each swat the boy got. God how she hated this, taking, giving, hearing it hapen. It was all horrible. She thought about the conversation she had earlier with her mother, about her own children and wondered if she realy would be able to spank them. Sure she spanked Hector when he was bad, but it was hard for her to do it and she asked Cassia to do it vor her whenever she could avoid it.

Andy looked at her sister with an simpathetic look. She had sworn today too, at her father non the less. Cassia had sworn out of pain so she was in a slightly better situation, through that wasn't any excuse. She would get the same treatment Andy got, how bad was for Melanie to decide.
