The Punishment (Anyone can join)

Hector danced when his Daddy pulled his hand away, caught him by the arm and administered six good smacks to his already sore bottom for rubbing. The little boy gave a high-stepping dance as his Father swatted his little bare seat. "Care to try again?" Daniel asked his son.

"Nooo, Daddy! I won't rub again, but it huuuurts!"

Hector heard a drawer open and when he turned his head quickly, he saw his father sitting in the chair with his Hairbrush in his hand.

"I don't want the hairbrush Daddy. No no no!" Hector cried.

"Then stand there quietly and think about what I said," answered Daniel. He heard water running in the bathroom, as well as a few muffled "ew" type noises. He figured Melanie must be dealing with Cassia, which meant Andy was downstairs preparing dinner all alone.
"One more thing to think about," he told Hector, taking a timer out of his dresser drawer. Each of the kids had a "corner time" timer in their rooms, gfor unsupervised corner time. "Cassia sad a bad word when she got burned, so not only did she get burned because you pushed her, but she's getting a spanking because of it." he set the timer for five minutes, figuring the little bundle of energy wouldn't be able to take. He walked over and sat the hairbrush where Hector could see it, as a reminder. "When the timer goes off, you can pull your pants back up and come downstairs."he said. "And I WILL know if you rub or if you leave the corner early." He squeezed Hectors shoulder and went downstairs.

"Hey pal," he said to Andy once he got there. "How's it coming?"

"Almost done" Andy said smiling at her father. She wasn't maby the best cook ever, but something simple like spaghetti she could do.

Daniel squeezed her shoulder as he went over and stirred the sauce. He scooped up a spoonful and blew on it, then gave a quick taste. "Hmm," he said, holding the spoon out to Andy. "We make a pretty good tag team. Taste."

Andy tasted "I guess I'm getting better on this" she said smiling cheeky.

"Only because I gave you such a good base to work with," he said, tweaking her nose. He went to the cupboard and started getting out plates and glasses.

"So you don't belive in my cooking skils?"she said pouting a little. She was of course teasing and the pout was a trained one.

He grinned at her mischeivously. (Hey, Daddies can be mischievous too!) "Let's just say that I'm glad we taught you how to call for take out at a young age," he teased.

"Oh, that's mean" Andy said and sat down on the floor crossing her hands on her chest. Okay maby she didn't manage to look like a five years old, but she truly tried to act like one
