Daniel hung up the phone and shot a stern look at his daughter. "That was your principal, Andromeda, we need to have a discussion after dinner." He said using her full name like he always did when she was in trouble. Without another word, he placed the phone back on the charger and headed down the stairs.

Cassia jumped up to help her mother. "I will set the table, mum." She said grabbing 5 plates from the shelf. She set them on the table and got according silverware. "So, how was your day. mum?" she asked getting napkins.

"Yes father" she said cursing the principal on her maind. She stood, took Hector by the hand and walked after their dad.

"Quite peacefull, thank you for asking dear" Melanie said puting the food on the plates. That done she took 5 glasses and put them on the table.
She went to the fridge taking out orande juice and filled the glasses. "All done" she said as Daniel, Andy and Hector entered the room.

Daniel kissed his wife on the cheek and sat down at the table. "Mmm. This sure does look good." He said.

Cassia sat down next to her father and took a sip of her orange juice. "Yeah, it does." She said, agreeing with her father.

Andy didn't say anything. She just sat down and started eating.

Hector didn't sit down right away, first he went to his Father's chair and climbed up on his lap and whispered in his ear, "I'm good now, Daddy!"

Then the little boy climbed down and went over to his mother, who he hadn't greeted yet and held up his arms to her to be hugged and kissed. He announced loudly, "Mommy! Daddy gave me a spanking and so did Andy, but that's all over now. Okay?!"

Melanie smiled at her son. She sat him on her lap and kissed him on the forhead. "You're a good boy now" she said hugging him.

Hector nodded vigorously. His little behind still stung and ached, but he rubbed it enthusiastically and said, "Momma, do I gotta sit in my high chair. I'm big!!"

Cassia glanced at her sister and nudged her with her elbow. "What's with the long face, sister dearest." She asked softly, taking a bite of eggroll.

Daniel chuckled at his son and took a bite of his rice. "I am glad we went for Chinese. It tastes so good." He said taking a drink of his juice.

"Nothing" Cassia sighed, looking at her sister

"Hector I know you are a big boy, but you have to grow up some more before I and daddy let you sit in a regular chair. Be a good boy and sit down" she smiled at him, sitting him in his chair

Cassia shrugged her sister's 'nothing' off and silently ate her dinner. Once she finished she looked up at her mom, "Want me to do the dishes?" She asked with a smile.

Daniel talked a little during dinner, mostly about his day and of course he asked about everyone else's. After he finished his plate, he leaned back in his chair with a heavy, content sigh. He got up, drained the last of his juice and put his plate in the sink. "Andy, as soon as you are done, head on up to your room, I will be in at six." he said to his daughter, heading off to his office to finish some work.
