Amara felt herself smirk slightly at the child's silence. "All you will do is wait on me a bit...you'll have some free time to do as you wish." she stated after another bout of silence.

Katya looked over at the Queen when she spoke up again and said that she was just going to have to wait on her a bit, the child nodding her head though the bit about the free time caught her by surprise. "R-really Mistress?" she questioned tentatively, thinking that was too good to be true and wanting to double check though she was hesitant to ask the question so it came out in something of a quivering voice.

Amara nodded "yes...you will also have your own room."

That little revelation once again gained a wide eyed look from Katya, the idea of having her own room something that she never could have even fathomed. "And...will I be locked up Mistress?" she asked tentatively, wondering if this new room was a cell since that was what she was accustomed to with the slave trader and she didn't really have much else to go on as far as the ways that things operated.

"No, though you will not wonder off outside without telling me. If you stay within the castle's outside walls we wont have any trouble." Amara stated then added "If you behave then you can earn trinkets and stuff that you want." Despite how harsh the woman was she did still see Katya as a child and decided that she would allow the girl to act her age when she was off duty.

Katya listened to the rules that were being defined to her by her new mistress and she nodded her head to show that she understood. "Yes Mistress," she said quietly as further acknowledgment. The blond girl was trying to figure her new master out, not sure what to make of her since she seemed so detached and yet already she was being nicer than the slave trader that Katya had been with before had ever been. That made the situation all the more confusing.

"You have the same rules of any child that is in the castle as well as the rules of the work that you are to do. No cursing, don't lie to me and don't wonder off, no stealing, be respectful and no wondering into the training rooms which are in the basement area." Amara continued then glanced over at the child and added "I'll get you some new clothes as well...do you like any particular color?" The stage coach slowly pulled up to the castle, the horses snorting as they slowed their pace to a dead stop. "Since today is your first day here all you are required to do is allow me to show you around and explain things to you."

Katya made it a point to pay careful attention as the Queen went over the rules that she was going to be expected to obey, not wanting to take any chances on messing up and getting herself into trouble. She was afraid of what might happen if she messed up so the girl wanted to make sure that didn't happen, Katya nodding her head again as she said, "Yes Mistress, I understand." The question about a color that she liked caused the child to look thoughtful before she replied, "I like pink Mistress."

Amara nodded "I'll show you around then you can explore on your own." she stated as she opened the door and stepped out "Do you nee help getting out?" she asked just as to kids rushed by kicking a ball.

Katya nodded her head when the Queen said that she would show her around and then allow her to explore. The offer of help she shook her head at, the girl walking to the door of the carriage and hopping out, her gaze following the playing children but she made no moves toward them and instead just looked again to her Mistress.
