Hearing someone approaching and then the snort Katya looked around, her gaze falling on the new arrival right as the question was asked. "Who are you?" she asked rather than answering the question that was posed to her, taking a wary step back since she didn't know who this was or whether or not they were dangerous. Which was likely something that she should have thought before sneaking outside to investigate but it hadn't seemed important at the time.

Katya shook her head when he mentioned getting her back and said that she was lucky, the child not so sure that she wanted to go along with him. "That's okay, I can find my own way back," she said, trying to keep her tone even as she said that and thinking that she could find her way back, even though she had managed to wander quite some distance.

"No, you can't wake her up," Katya said when he said that he could get Amara there, the child shaking her head in response to that. "I can go by myself, I came out here by myself," she told him softly, not wanting any trouble and also not wanting to disturb Amara's sleep.
