Katya was startled when Amara's voice suddenly rang out from behind her, the girl turning to look up at her as she was once again told that she was lucky. "Just wanted to see what the shadow was," she said quietly even though she wasn't asked why she was outside in the first place.

"it could have been a theif a murderer or anything Katya! You come find us if you see something okay?" Amara lectured then added "what if you got kidnapped, hurt or worse?"

Amara didn't want to think about what could have happened

"Didn't think about any of that," Katya said quietly when she ended up being lectured by Amara, the girl looking a bit upset by all those possibilities that were named off since she really just hadn't been thinking about anything like that, she'd just been curious.

"well I have to make sure you think next time." Amara stated firmly as she knelt down and picked the girl up "I am not mad at you Kat.....I still love you and nothing will change that but I won't let you put yourself in danger like this, you're going to have to be punished."

Katya couldn't help but make a soft whimpering noise when she was picked up, not because of the gesture itself but because of what Amara had to say to her. "You don't have to...could just tell me to think next time," Katya said quietly in response to the announcement that she had to be punished for what she had done, that just not a pleasant thought.

Amara sighed "Sweetheart...sometimes curiousity overwhelms common sense. that's why I am going to punish you because sometimes its eaiser to remember an action more than it is a lecture." she stated gently as she kissed the girl's hair.

Amara went over to a log and sat down, standing the girl beside of her.
"why am I about to punish you Kat?" she asked, using the pet name she'd came up for her.

"I can remember," Katya said quietly when she was told that sometimes it was easier to remember an action moreso than a lecture, the words just the girl's attempt to get out of a spanking of course since no child wanted a spanking. She looked at Amara with a pitiful look in her blue eyes when she was placed at the woman's side and asked why she was going to be punished. "Cause I sneaked out...but you don't have to," she said softly, giving the reason she thought she was in trouble but then adding that the woman didn't have to.

"You could've been hurt or killed.....I'm sorry but i do have to do this to make sure you will think next time." Amara stated sadly.

She hated to have to punish the girl but she had never felt as much fear as she did when ghost had came to alert her.

Katya looked at Amara when she said that she could have been hurt or killed and that made her feel bad for what she had done, mainly because she had apparently worried the woman. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," she said quietly, her words sincere since that really hadn't been her intention, she hadn't thought that the woman would even know that she had gone outside.
