Rebel Reform (For Sarah Young)

Aria nodded slowly. "....T-Thanks..." she mumbled, and then made a reach for her guitar again, but decided against it at the last second, she would wait until she was alone to play.

Damien gave a deep sigh, he decided to let Hannah's reaction go for now and calmed. "Yes...lunch will be nice right about now..." he said giving a nod. "Come on girls." he said, smiling warmly again.

Hannah grabs Aria's hand and says semi sarcastically "PLEASE lead the way, THANK YOU" to the couple.

Sarah grits her teeth a little and slides past Damien and counts under her breath "1,2,3,4...." takes a deep breath and maintains her pleasant tone. "We have the fixings for subs, several types of meats, cheeses, breads, condiments, veggies, bowls of fruit, chips, brownies, cookies, milk, water, lemonade, and iced tea." She knew the girls would see it all, but it helped her calm herself to list it off. She squeezes Damien's hand.

Aria gripped onto her sister's hand and rubbed her stomach with the other hand. She could tell the that the tension between both sides was increasing exponentially. However, she was curious...and somewhat fearful to see what would happen if this couple's buttons were pushed too much.

Unlike Sarah who was trying to calm herself, Damien had no issue addressing the issues so far. He had one, with Hannah growing an attitude with them and they had to nip it in the bud before she got worse, or Aria followed in her older sister's footsteps and began to act out in the same way. "Feel free to pick out what you want to eat for now, just be sure not to aim for only the sweets first..." he joked as another attempt to keep things light hearted until everyone was seated at the table.

Aria couldn't help but lick her lips and let go of her sister's hand in order to analyze the buffet laid out before them. "Oh...wow..." it's been awhile since the two were given so many options to choose from for their meal and it all looked amazing.

Hannah was torn between responding sarcastically to Damien and eating... hunger won out.

She grabbed a plate and grabbed a sub roll and piled on roast beef and cheddar and lettuce and pickles, opened 2 different types of potato chips, a cookie AND a brownie and filled 2 glasses with lemonade, one for her and one for Aria. She would be back later to hoard some of it in their room, but for now with the couple looking on she would just grab her fill and then some.

Remembering her desire to be "polite" she gave Sarah a quick glance "ThankYouForLunch"

With her plate, the glasses, and the chips in hand she started out of the dining room back towards the stairs.

Sarah's eyes widened at the amount of food Hannah had, but she wasn't upset by it more saddened. Poor kids. Who knows what they were used to foodwise. This wasn't a big deal with her and Damien, but those poor kids. She quietly made herself a turkey on rye and some iced tea. Giving Aria a smile, "Is there anything I can help you find?"

She didn't notice Hannah leaving.

Aria licked her lips a little more and shook her head. "No...I got it..." she mumbled and shakily took a plate, unsure of what to get for herself. She decided to mimic her sister and get a sub roll, one it she put half turkey then half ham, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes and sprinkled a little salt and pepper here and there. She skipped the chips and headed for the cookies which she took three of, milk and a bottle of water. "T-Thank you..."

Damien smiled lightly, he would let the girls take what they please, they seemed rather happy, so he was happy. But he noticed Hannah begin to leave, and called out to her immediately before the girl could even reach the stairs. "Excuse me Hannah. Come back, we eat here in the dining room, not upstairs." he said, keeping his cool to see if the girl would obey and come back.

Turning, Hannah couldn't keep back the biting tone this time "I didn't ask where YOU eat, but thanks for telling me - good to know." And she kept walking.

Sarah heard Hannah's tone and looked at her husband worried "Babe... this is all new to her. She's just hungry and scared..." She bit her lip and looked at her plate deciding to keep trying to draw Aria out. "So you like provolone? Me too. Really I love all cheese, except for swiss. Why makes a cheese with holes in it?" She laughs lightly.

"....." Aria set her plate down and nearly froze as she heard Hannah's reply back, she couldn't help but grow a little shaky as Damien didn't give a reply back, and Sarah's attempts at keeping her distracted weren't working as her eyes were set on the patriarch.

Damien gave a deep sigh, his patience was wearing thin. "...Alright..." he muttered to himself as he began to walk in an attempt to follow her, only for Aria to notice just the slightest bit of moment and she rushed to the tall man grasping at his hand. "P-Please don't...!" she was frightened. Past experiences with this scenario usually meant that something drastic would happen, or in least Aria's mind that's what was going to happen and that was what was racing in Aria's mind right now. "D-Don't..."

Damien blinked in surprise, but then he gave a sigh and turned kneeled down to face the girl. "No reason to be scared Aria..." he said, giving a calm smile. "I'm just going to talk with your sister to see if she'll come back downstairs okay, I want all of us to eat together okay, no trouble right now..." he said softly, rubbing the girl's head gently. The absence of anger in Damien's face right now was a little reassurance to Aria, but she was still nervous. Just because he was calm, doesn't mean Hannah would be, and that could start issues.

Sarah walked over to Aria and knelt down next to the two of them. "Aria, I promise that he isn't going to hurt your sister." glancing at Damien "Well not... " taking a breath and letting it out "We wanted to have a frank discussion with you both about the rules and expectations here, but that hasn't happened yet, so let me just say that as long as Hannah comes back promptly she won't be in trouble, and Aria?" Sarah looked at her fiercely "Damien and I PROMISE you both, and we will say it again, that we will never abuse or attack either of you. There will be no fists or deprivation of food or any other horrible things here, ok? I promise."

Sarah sighed and looked at Damien again, "I'd offer to go talk to her, but I am not sure she believes me capable of... compelling her to comply. Yet."

"O....Okay....?" Aria was unsure whether or not she should trust them yet, but so far, they had treated both she and Hannah so nicely and didn't give off any signs that they would seriously hurt them. So for now, she would give the couple the benefit of a doubt, even though her current body language expressed uncertainty, she was still shaky and her face showed anything but calm.

"Don't worry, I should...no...will, be able to handle this swiftly." Damien said as she adjusted his glasses and proceeded to head upstairs back to the girls' room where he knew Hannah would probably be. After all, he noticed that she had two cups of lemonade in her grasp, which means that she was probably waiting there for Aria to join her.

Sarah gently walked Aria back over to the table. "Other than your guitar do you have any interests or hobbies?" She prayed silently that Hannah complied - she didn't think Aria was in a place to accept her big sister being discipline graciously.

Hannah was busy wolfing down her food wondering what was taking A so long. She threw open the door to yell down to Aria and was shocked to see Damien standing there. Taking a defensive stance she crossed her arms. "Hey Wassup?"
