Kimiko followed her father to his room while the other guys were still busy training. "What are you going to show me?", she asked, a bit confused at how he sepperated her from the others, but also intrigued by his unconventional training methods. The teen watched as he took out ink brushed and bland canvases and received them. She looked at them curiously and then at Sho. "What am I supposed to do with these, how are they going to help me with training?", Kim asked, confused but with an open mind.

"I'll explain in a moment," he said. "Now begin adding strokes to the canvas. They don't have to be neat or clean, just quick strokes. I want to test something." While saying that he began doing the same thing he had instructed her to do. The lesson he was trying to show her would be much easier to understand and see that way.

"This is really weird, how is painting going to help me with martial arts?", she asked but followed his instructions. With the brush she made some quick strokes on the canvas, just as he had asked. When she was done she looked over to her father and saw that he had done the exact same thing. Of course the girl had still no clue what he intended to show her. "I am done. So, are you now going to explain me what you wanted to show?", the teen asked a bit impatient. She knew Sho would not dissapoint her and that there was a method to this apparent madness, but she was still a teen who not always saw the wisdom behind her elders actions and demanded an explanation.

Sho started to finish up around the same time she did and held up a finger. "Patience Kimiko. Patience." After a few more seconds he finished and put the ink brush down. He set both canvases beside each other and turned to her. "Now, tell me, what do you notice?" After asking that he moved a bit further away so she could focus on the canvases. It seemed they both had made random strokes, but half way through Kim's strokes started to follow a pattern while Sho's remained wild throughout the entire time.

Kim nodded when her father told her to be patient, trusting that he had a plan. She allowed him to finish what he was doing with the canvas and how he put them next to each other so they would be compareable. Sho then asked her what she was noticing. As the smart kid she was Kim realized that her strokes followed a pattern while her fathers were wild and chaotic, unpredictable certainly. "Well, my pen strokes follow a pattern while yours are completly wild. But what does it mean? What are you trying to teach me?", she asked very curious to find out what Sho wanted to show her.

"I'm trying to show you why you're predictable," Sho answered while smiling at her. "You're following human nature. Every body wants to follow a set pattern, maybe not consciously but it's what your body wants. I think if you practice working on being unpredictable in your drawing, writing, painting, or anything else you want, then you can focus being unpredictable in your movements. It won't be easy I can assure you that, it took me a while too. But you'll get there eventually."

"Okay, I´ll try.", Kim said and looked at the two paintings thinking. There definately was truth to what her father said, maybe she really would be able to be more unpredictable when doing martial arts if she accomplished it in drawing and so on.
"Are we going to join the others again?", the teen asked after she thought her little private lesson was finished. It probably was about time for the lesson to end now that Sho had dealt with the individual problems of his students on the road to be martial arts masters. She felt encouraged after their little talk that she had the potential to perfect her fighting style and become more unpredictable in her movements.

"Yes we are, we're all done for today," Sho answered as he lead her back to the others who had already started gathering their things to leave. He dismissed them and watched as they headed back to their parents before starting to remove the training equipment.

"Okay, it was a fun lesson.", Kim said and watched as the other kids slowly departed. She then helped Sho with removing the training equipment until they were done. The girl then sighted. "I better take another shower and move into something more comfortable. Do you have any plans for the evening? I might have to study a bit, but after that we could watch a movie or play some videogames.", she suggested, wanting to spend some time with her adopted father whom she loved.

Once all the equipment was put away he would let out a short yawn before turning to Kim. They were alone yet again which he thought was more peaceful. He did like teaching, but sometimes the excitement grew too much and he just needed to relax a bit. "No I don't have any plans. I'm not sure I'd be any good at a video game but I wouldn't mind a movie."
