Rebellious Trainer (For Cheeki)

Lynn Hailey, was running through the woods. She couldn't believe, her luck! Only three days, into her journey, and she found a Celebi! It had run, but she wasn't about to let it escape! She eventually broke through some bushes, into a clearing, and looked around. "Where'd you go?" she muttered, looking around, but not noticing, the older trainer, nearby.

Lily and Anthony Flores were having a nice day. They had been camping out in the forest just before Jubilife City for the last few days, examining the wildlife there. "Hey, sis," Anthony called out. Lily spared him a glance, indicating her interest before returning to her Eevee. Her hands worked expertly with the brush, neatly grooming every stand of her fur she came across. "We need to stock up on some supplies, like bandages and matches." Lily nodded, some of her black hair falling and sticking onto her moist face.

"Agreed." She responded. Suddenly, a green blur zoomed into the clearing. Lily barely had time to recognize it as a Celebi before it disappeared in a bright light. "...That was a Celebi." Lily commented.

Anthony nodded. "Do you think it went back in time? Or forward?" He frowned. "But why would it do that? Don't Celebi's only travel through time when they feel threatened?" Lly confirmed her younger brother's knowledge.

Suddenly, just as before, a young trainer ran into their clearing. "I found our answer." Liuly answered dryly.

Lynn, continued to look around, and then noticed them. "Hey" she said, walking over, "Have you seen a Celebi, around here? One entered my camp, and I've been trying to catch it."

Lily felt slightly enraged at the idea of a trainer trying to catch such a rare Pokemon. Luckily, she didn't need to speak as her brother had that covered. "Catch it?! Are you crazy?" He asked, although a bit ruder than necessary.

The raven-haired girl sighed. "What my rude brother," She paused, shooting a dark glare at her brother, "Is trying to say is that Celebi belongs in the wild and it'd be cruel for you to catch it. As to answer your question, we have seen it. It disappeared through a time vortex." She answered.

"No!" she whined, "It went through time? But I wanted it! I..." A flash of light, caught her eye, and she smiled. "Aha!" she laughed, taking off, after Celebi again.

(I usually, have Lyn catch Celebi. If you don't mind. Although she's not too powerful, she's one of the cutest legendary pokemon, there is! And the most spankable! )

Lily felt slightly ruffled by the way the girl completely ignored what her brother and her were saying. It was like the young girl didn't even care. Shaking her head, Lily returned to grooming her Eevee. There was no way that she would interfere in some one else's affairs, however misguided they may be.

Her brother, Anthony, though, did not have that problem. "HEY!" He called out. "You can't just go around catching rare Pokemon! Celebi belongs in the wild and is needed by different Pokemon throughout time!" Anthony ran after the girl, his face flushed with anger.

Lynn looked back, and scowled at him, before she kept running. She spotted some Beedrill, sleeping in a tree, and smirked. She scooped up two stones, and turned to the guy. "Catch" she said, gently tossing one of the rocks to him. Then she threw the other at the Beedrill, and ran off. When the Beedrill was hit, it was knocked from the tree. It looked at the stone, in Anthony's hand, and glared at him, as the swarm, joined it.

Meanwhile, Lynn was closing in on Celebi.

"Huh?" Anthony paused when the girl tossed him a stone. "Wha-!" He let out a startled shout when she threw the stone at a resting Beedrill. The Beedrill hit the ground and then got up, its intimidating red eyes locking onto Anthony, or more specifically, the stone in his hand. The Beedrill, joined by its brethren, began to zoom towards him.

Anthony gulped. "Hey, I didn't throw it!" He tried to say, but the words were stuck in his throat. His hand reached for a Pokeball but then he realized he had forgotten it in the camp. He didn't have any Pokemon. Anthony tried to get away and then tripped, hit butt hitting the ground.

"You always get yourself into sticky situations." His elder sister sighed. "Eevee, knock them down with Shadow Ball." Her Eevee jumped off her shoulder, where it had perched itself after Lily joined the chase (although she wasn't exactly a chaser with her gated walk- more of an observer), and released a large black ball the crash into the swarm, injuring a dozen of them and causing the herd to fly back into the woods.

"Thanks, sis." Anthony murmured, taking her offered hand. Lily nodded and then resumed her relaxed walk. "We're going to lose her if you walk so slow!" He complained, following behind her. He had learned not to go after the girl alone, defenseless. But when they caught up she would get it! Anthony wasn't sure what he would do yet but she would regret her actions, he was sure!

"Battling any Pokemon as rare as Celebi takes time." Lily answered simply. "And with the Pokemon in question being as evasive as it is, that girl will struggle with her goals, if she even succeeds at all." What Lily didn't mention was the handkerchief in her pocket that she had snagged off the girl. If they lost her then the older sibling would simply track her down with the help of Eevee.

Lynn, was focused on the battle at hand. she had caught up to Celebi, and engaged her in battle. Up until then, Lynn had three pokemon. Her starter, Chimchar, Starly, and a Rattata. At the moment, she was down to just Chimchar. Celebi, was breathing hard. Although she was a legendary, battling wasn't her forte. She fought as hard as she could, but. "Hang in there Chimchar!" urged Lynn, "Flame Wheel!" "Chim!" he cried, spinning, and slamming into Celebi. Celebi cried out, as she went flying, and slammed into a tree. "Ok" said Lynn, "This time for sure. Pokeball go!" The ball his Celebi, and drew her in. Lynn watched eagerly, and then smiled, when the ball stopped, with a snap. "I...I-I did it!" she laughed, rushing over, and grabbing the ball, "I caught Celebi! Woo! Hoo!" "Chimchar!" laughed the fire pokémon, laping into her arms. She caught, and hugged him. "Way to go Pal!" she laugh, "Let's head back to camp." She then, started off.

Lily and Anthony stopped when they saw the girl walking back in their direction. She held a pokeball and Lily assumed that she had caught the Celebi. That annoyed the breeder. This girl obviously didn't understand the balance that needed to be preserved.

Anthony grinned evilly at seeing the girl, his anger still present. He began to walk towards her, shouting. "There you are!" He was going to give her what's for , just like he promised only a few minutes ago. However, Lily's hand fell on his shoulder, stopping him. Lily, after stopping her reckless younger brother, began to walk towards the girl. She had her own idea on how to deal with the young trainer's misbehavior.
