Hello everyone, and welcome to the premiering of my latest project I will be working on following Spanquest. Keep in mind that the title that is in the thread name is temporary.
As I noticed that Spanquest was beginning to look much less structured, and adding new content became increasingly difficult when taking into account the other underlying events. As it always goes with game design, you add a new feature and 5 new bugs come up. Besides this, the constraint of the first game taking place within a day also limited what locations could be put into the game as well as the scenarios. I could not add scenes such as a sleepover, staying up late, startling villagers at night, etc. Reflecting on these points, I believe I have developed a setting that allows much more fluidity in how events are handled, while also tapping into a plethora of unused scenes and inspiration.

First things first, the new game will take place in modern times. Cars, internet, television, the works. I was able to find a tileset online from a forum called Foxtailstimes. Their forum has a section of rpgmaker games as well as resources for people to make games (although they are heavily abdl focused), so I would like to give credit there.

Now for the actual game. The plot is essentially your character and their family (which consistency will vary) moving to a new town after one of their parents finds a new, more profitable job in the area. The town itself is fine enough, there is a stable economy, the streets are clean, and the people happy. One odd thing our MC slowly begins to notice is that everyone in town is involved in spanking. Everywhere you look, parents spank kids, teachers spank students, bosses spank employees, and police spank criminals. It seems no matter what is said, spanking is the only punishment that goes on in town... If this could get any worse, outsiders from the town find themselves sharing these new feelings for seemingly no reason! Clearly, something about this town is off.
Who is responsible for this?
Will you get corrupted as well?
Is there still a chance to save the town?
If there is... would you?
----------------------------------------------
Well there is the sneak peak for the story. Gameplay wise, you will cycle through days pretty often. There will be a 7 day schedule, with certain events only being accessible on certain days (while about half will be always available). I'm experimenting with the feature of being able to choose the sex of spankers and spankees before the game starts (rather you have a preference for male or female) and having some NPC's changed based on your choice. Spanking mechanics will be similar to Spanquest, with the added feature of varying your spankings and reactions to a degree. The game will take place in one town (doesn't have a name yet :/), which consists of a residential district, school, park, business sector, main street (shops and restaurants), downtown, uptown, and more. In addition: no time limit! The story will take it's own time to progress, and you can enjoy the unique charm of the city at your own leisure.

Here is a demo I released for this:

It is pretty unpolished, and only has about 10 or so minutes of content.

UPDATE: 10/11/16
Everything's Effed.
So long story short, I'm just too busy to work on this game. "But you just started a n-" Yes, I know. The difference being that this project I've been working on here doesn't really have the framework for casual development. What I mean is that even with an hour or so of time, there isn't much progress I can make due to taking into account all of the interacting events and scenes. In my latest project (which you'll find easily enough) the setting and format of the game is much more different. In 30 minutes I can have a new scene with a new character done, with minor sidestuff being finished in just a bit longer. There's not much more to say except that I'm sorry I hyped up something I could never realistically complete in my current situation.
