Christian could tell Hayden was jumpy and he really couldn't blame him. Adrenaline was still making his hands shake and when told to get into the car, he didn't ask any questions and scurried inside. Honestly, he was surprised that Hayden had and was helping him. Their last interactions were hardly amicable and he didn't really understand why he was doing what he was doing. Still, he certainly wasn't going to complain and he was more than happy to be saved by him.

At the question, Christian ducked his head, his poverty being dragged into the limelight, "I... I can't really afford to right now," he said quietly.

Hayden gave a soft sigh and contained the urge to roll his eyes, "I'm offering kid....you don't have to pay me back or anything....but I need some questions answered and no locked jaw like last time." Hayden shook his head auburn hair swayed a bit, "If I just so happened not to be going to ------" But the rest was lost as the memory of why he was in that god forsaken place came back,

"Ah shit! I forgot all about the stupidly delicious cookies!" He exclaimed complete with a groan and a face palm followed by a few grumbles with cures laced in them. Giving a deep breath Hayden looked over at Christian, "Anyways. kid I need some freaken answers free of sass.....and I will hear you out? Okay? Deal?"

On hearing he was offering, Christian's eyes widened, "Really?" he whispered, "I... I don't have to pay you back?" he pulled back a little at the demand of questions, but he was honestly too hungry to be anything but contrite and quiet. He simply nodded along, accepting the offer with silent grace.

Christian nodded, "Yeah, okay. It's a deal," he replied quietly, "What d'you wanna know?"

Hayden nodded as the kid asked if he was serious which he was. A small smile came on his face when the blonde agreed, "Alright, lets run through the drive through than park and eat than we can play twenty questions, but first why don't you start with a name? I mean, I can't keep calling you punk...well, I could, but I don't think you would like it." A small smirked edged on his lips as he pulled into the drivethrough line they were nexted, "Know what you want?"

Christian scowled, "I didn't like it when you called me it the first time," he grumbled, "My name's Chrisitian. Are you going to tell me your name or are you just going to stay at 'mysterious stranger'?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, finger skating quotation marks in the air. He leaned over to read the menu, before telling the man what he wanted. He knew he probably shouldn't eat so much seeing as he had no idea when his last meal was, but he was too hungry to resist.

Hayden could not help but smirk in amusement nodding at the name given okay Christian. "Hm, you know, I quite like mysterious stranger it gives me an air of mystery." He quipped listening to what the kid wanted and added it along with what he wanted. Driving up, he gave the money then go change back before driving up the second window to wait only then did he say, "But if you must know, it's Hayden." Getting the food he pulled off to check it before pushing the bags into Christian's lap drinks in the cup holder. "You can eat, but I am not liable if you choke," Pulling off, he soon pulled into a parking lot that led to a lake side and had the car facing the water before cutting the engine. Releasing his seat belt, he took hi bag and chewed a fry,

"Something funny about my name?" Christian asked, scowling. People had pointed out before the irony of having his name whilst leading such a very un-Christian life, but he really couldn't be bothered with that same old quip from Hayden. "Well, it's easier to call you Hayden than it is 'mysterious stranger'," the boy said through mouthfuls of food. He was eating incredibly fast, but he really didn't care.

"Oh, those guys. I owed them money," he shuddered, "and I don't know how I'm going to pay them back."

"Funny? Nah its fine." The sea eyed man chuckled before nodding, "I suppose its a mouthful more then Hayden." He listened to his question being answered while watching the way the kid ate. He grabbed on of Christian's wrist as it went to retrieve more food,

"Even if I am not liable, I don't want you choking to death in my car, slow down." He then let go thinking as he took a bite of his burger, "Do those creeps have a hangout? An address?" Seeming to be working out something in his mind.

"Hey!" Christian cried out in surprise as a large hand gripped his wrist, stopping him from getting at the food. He supposed he was eating pretty fast and he couldn't exactly protest against the man who had bought him the very food. So in spite of sulking, because he really was hungry, he nodded and mumbled, "Yeah, okay."

Christian narrowed his eyes at the question, "Yeah," he began to eat again, far slower this time, "Why?"
