Lestrade gave a heavy sigh and tightened his grip on John's hand, still pinning it to his back, still holding him down as he swatted away with the ruler on John's boxer-clad bottom. "I'm not going to stop until you apologize for throwing a hissy, and agree to pick up your mess. If you don't give in anytime soon, I'll be forced to make you stand in the corner to rethink your childish actions!" He threatened, knowing that John wouldn't like that; seeing how it drove most children insane to have their noses shoved in corners, because they don't like to think about what they did wrong. While John loathed the sound of being stuck in a corner, he was stubborn and he didn't want to just submit to a child's punishment. And anyway, if Lestrade wanted him in the corner, then he was going to get a good fight on his hands firstly. "Fuck off Greg!" he snapped at the man and tried to force back the tears from his eyes. It was getting harder and harder to stay strong through the punishment, knowing his limit was near. His bottom stung like hell and burned to boot, but he was still being a stubborn arse.

Greg tsk'ed at the man, setting aside the ruler and grabbing the hem of John's boxers, stating, "Perhaps you'd understand me a little better if these came off." He proceeded to drag them to John's knees, straightening back up and continuing the smacking with his hand once again. He didn't want to welt John, knowing he might get a little angry and smack the ruler too hard on his unprotected bum.

When John's bottom was bared, John blushed a deep shade of red and felt every last shred of pride leave him. He groaned and then hissed at the smacks given to his poor sore bottom. He gripped the desk hard and whimpered a bit in response to the pain, "Oww!!! Alright!!! A-AH! Alright!! Greg!! Owww!!! I'm sorry!!!" he howled, feeling the tears roll down his cheeks and drip from his chin, he'd never been so sore, and so humiliated in all his life, "Please...j-just stop..."

Greg lightened the smacks a bit, but wasn't quite done. "Are you truly sorry, John?" He questioned, drawing out the spanks, but not decreasing intensity whatsoever. "Tell me exactly what you're sorry for, then. And while you're at it, tell me how you're going to fix what you did wrong."

John hoped and prayed that his words would have ended the spanking but it seemed like it wasn't going to. He cried harder as Greg continued to smack his bottom and he answered eagerly the questions he was given, "I-I was d-disrespectful to you a-and I...threw a t-tantrum and I d-didn't listen...a-and I put m-my hand in the w-way!" he answered, "I'll pick th-the mess u-up Greg, p-please!" he pleaded, a low whine to his tone as he forced back more yells of pain.

Greg was satisfied, and he stopped the smacks and bent down, dragging the boxers back up and putting them back into place; knowing that it would further agitate John's burning bottom. "Good. Now go stand in the corner, if you will." He told him. Now it was just about John respecting his authority, and doing what he was told.

John was overly relieved when the spanking stopped, but he was able to feel the full sting and burn now, and it was unbearable. He whimpered when told to go to the corner but nodded, sort of waddling over there because walking properly was too painful at that time. He parked his nose in the corner and tried to stop crying, at least Sherlock wasn't around to see this. That was one positive among many negatives.
