Rhei sighed and smiled slightly at the reassurance, straightening up and looking at the taller teen. "I hope we will. I don't want to make this a useless wild goose chase, y'know." he said, as he looked up at the cat. He needed to think positive to motivate himself and try again. That was life for him.

"So, did anyone tell you where'd he go?"

"Back home, hmm? You're right, Tifa and Aerith might know. So shall we go-whoa!" Rhei jumped back like a cat reacting to a loud noise, eyes widened in sudden surprise but then furrowing to a glare. "Heartless!"

The basic black one appeared, yellow-eyed and crouching down to inspect the two Keybladers and Mage. Soon more came as reinforcements, so it wouldn't be the sole one to appear first.

"Way to brighten up my mood!" Rhei dived in, weapon in hand and began to slash way!

Nero brandished his own Keyblade. "Haven't even this thing yet. But now is a good time to learn!" Nero said as he attacked alongside Rhei against the Shadow Heartless.

Lani nods. "Be careful you two." She said as she waved he hand around. He hand was engulfed in flames as she began blasting away at the shadows with fireballs.

Rhei grinned as he delivered a nasty whack to each nasty little imp that swarmed around him. "Heh, no worries! This is child's play!" he chimed, stopping once he saw the flames. "Hey, I can do that too!" he then took a jump straight into the air and pointed downwards, yelling out "Fire!"

It was similar to her own attack, as if she was repeating the same attack where fireballs pegged the little blighters.

Lani saw and smiled at that. "So you know the art of magic too huh? That's pretty neat!" She said as she switched it up now. Her palm turner Grey now and shot a hole onto the ground. "Force!"

"Yeah, learned much back in Radiant Garden!" If it wasn't for Merlin, he wouldn't have learned a few element powers. He kept his blade firm within his palms, now shooting a barrage of icicles, freezing the sand in the process.

"Cool off!" He yelled.

Lani gave a smile and soon all the Heartless was eradicated with the combined might of the three kids. "Good job guys."

Nero gave a smirk. "Yeah. Ain't that awesome?"
