Richard needs a sitter (for dtrain34)

[Matisse]

"Mom, I'm too old for a babysitter!" Richard complained.
Richard Smith, a fifteen years old boy, quite tall for his age but not very fit, with green eyes, short brown hair and with a pair of big round glasses, was really not happy about the situation. He didn't want to be stucked with a babysitter at his age, he felt he was really too old for it.
"Richard, I have to work and I can't leave you alone all day, you're still a minor." Manuela, Richard's mom, gently explained.
"Whatever." he grunted in response, and hid himself under the cover of the bed.
Before she could reply, Manuela heard the door ringing. It was surely the sitter.
"She's here." she said "I suggest you to behave for her."
She left him alone and went to the living room. She took a deep breath, and opened the door to welcome the sitter.

Sabrina was a local teenage girl, she’d done her fair share of waitressing in the area but getting ready for college she needed something more consistent. She started today with a summer long babysitting. She didn’t know much about the boy but she was ready for this. She gave a firm knock and when the door opened she smiled and entered the room “how are you ma’am?” She asked curiously with a small bow.

Manuela smiled at her, saying "Nice to meet you, Sabrina. I'm glad you replied to my request."
She let her in and signed her to make herself comfortable on the sofa.
"So, do you have any babysitting experience?" she asked, while taking out the papers with the contract.

She smiled at the woman’s question “just my cousins, their great kids but they have a tendency to cause some trouble. I promise I know how to handle that.” She assured her with a small nod and a steady smile.

[Matisse]

Manuela smiled again and placed the contract in front of the girl, saying "That's good to hear it. You have my full permission to punish my son as you see fit if he misbehaves, which I had to warn you will happen frequently. He is not a bad kid, but he's a bit wild and doesn't like the idea to have a babysitter at his age."

She nodded slightly looking down “I think everything looks to be in order, anything else I should know ma’am? Or should I go meet him?” She asked curiously tilting her head as she slowly stretched after signing the contract.


((Should she talk down to him? Call him her little buddy etc stuff like that?

[Matisse]

"No, nothing else." Manuela replied, taking the contract "I have to go. You'll find him in his room."
She took her coat, and said her goodbies, leaving Sabrina alone with Richard.
The boy was still in his bedroom, under the sheets.

The first thing she did was prepare them both a cup of tea, it always worked to keep her cousins calm why wouldn’t it work now? She wondered aloud as she approached his door giving a small knocking slightly on the door to his bedroom.

As he heard the knock, Richard replied with an annoyed tone without coming out from the sheets: "Who bothers me? Go away!"
He knew that it was his sitter, who other could they be? He really didn't want to meet her. She was a old hag for sure, and he didn't need a sitter.

Her head tilted and she slowly opened the door “Richard? Can we talk?” She asked curiously as she entered the room slowly approaching his bed with her arms crossed and a small frown on her face, it seemed he was going to be a difficult child.
