Bruce had landed back at the cave. He had been having a long patrol of Gotham, as he had been working for three days with no sleep.

"Alfred? Dinner" He said moodily, as he sat down on his batcomputer to do his paperwork that he did on new villains, and working on new ideas for how to be more effective as a hero.

"Alfred? Where is he... Batman to Manor... anyone there? He asked.

The computer remained idle in its work as he tried to get the attention of his butler or someone but everything t seemed quiet. No one seemed to be responding. However, he wouldn’t be left in silence long as one of the entryways to the cave opened up to reveal Dick Grayson, who didn’t express much as he walked out. He was the more emotion driver of Batman’s side kicks. “Oh, you’re back…” he commented as he walked over with a sigh. “Didn’t you say you were going to stop after last night?” He asked as it seemed this had been a reoccurring conversation between the two

Bruce kept typing away. He wanted Alfred, to be of service, not his first and oldest son. He tried to type and ignore him, but when he kept talking he sighed. It had been a matter of weeks where his family wanted him to take more rest. Not to patrol every night, to not stay up more than 18 hours at a time.

He was Batman, and that was his job, he could do it and maintain his functioning at the same time. But they never seemed to understand.

He finally stopped., and turned around. "I do what I have to, for the people of Gotham. So pardon me, if it means i have a couple late days" He said rather moodily. "Now. Can i get back to work please?" He asked him firmly

“There’s a different between working late and working yourself to the bone, Batman.” He surprisingly barked back, but remained rather collected despite it, but it came from a place of concern. “What good does it do if you’re too exhausted to fight, or do anything? That’s when someone like our enemies will strike.” He added to the list of things he came here for, the boy remaining firm as if he was leading into something

He interrupted him, "Fine. I will sleep tomorrow, and I will sleep for 8 hours, now leave me, so I can do my work!" He said cutting him off wanting to be left alone.

He was taken aback by the sudden cut off as he grunted at that and shook his head. “Tonight.” He told him upfront. “Because I’ve already heard that one.” He remarked in frustration at the man’s stubbornness. But he wouldn’t be Batman without it

He smirked, as he was able to get away with it yet again, and he went back to work, after making another coffee. The miracle tonic for men like him.

Alfred, the butler looked at Dick. "No luck? You may need to take measures up.." he said softly.
