Roommate Retribution

"Its all good dude" he said and set the countroller down as he continued to play his video game, not bothered by him watching as the man had girls come over and watch all the time, as he battled the latest boss.

Scott watched and relaxed on his portion of the couch, watching to get an idea for what kind of person his new roommate was. He wasn’t able to fully gauge him but he was rather interested otherwise. The means of speaking were a bit surprising to him

He played for like 4 hours before stretching and looking at the time and seeing it was near 11pm. He sighed he should get some sleep but he would be fine and get to work on time he thought as he rubbed his eyes for a second and went and got a red bull from the fridge, taking a large swig and resuming his gaming.

At some point Scott had gone off to look around and get familiar with his new surroundings. Walking down the hall after a shower, he blinked when that caught his attention and he glanced over, seeing the man drink the energy drink. “Almost midnight, interesting choice.” He chuckled as he struck up conversation, not trying to sound judgmental but remain friendly

"It will be alright do it all the time" he said with a laugh as he chugged the drink and continued on playing his video game. He played several more rounds before he fell asleep on the couch, controller settled in his hands as he was nesring on two hours late to work and his phone ringing next to him so dead asleep he didnt hear it ringing.

Scott had gone to bed at some point between then and now, but hearing the nonstop phone calls caught him off guard as he walked out of his room to investigate. He didn’t wish to be rude so he walked over and gently shook his roommate’s shoulder

Sam was out pretty well as he at first did not catch the gentle shaking but his awareness eventually kicked in as he panicked forgetting he had moved someone in yesterday "oh shit!" He yelped in a panick as he started to realize it was Scott and calmed down before his phone went off again. He picked it up and lightly cursed under his breath "excuse me a mintue um thanks for waking me up" he said to Scott before he went to the hallway and answered his phone. He winced as his boss berated him for missing work a second time and once more he was getting fired and not to bother today as he was already covered now and they were not guna punish the person who came in and getting overtime over his mistake to come to work today. He gave a soft groan and hit his back aginst the wall of the hallway before he sighed and pushed back to standing and went into the apartment again and said "um thanks again" as he went to the couch and sat down running a hand through his hair in misery.

Scott watched him leave the room and stood by, not sure what to say as this was rather surprising for him. The younger man jumped in surprise when he heard the faint yelling from the phone but couldn’t quite make it out, but given his new roommates behavior after the fact he was rather quick to deduce what happened. “Everything alright?” He politely asked

He flushed a small bit at the question and gave a nervous cough, slightly embarassed but it was his roommate no big deal. "Oh yeah everything is alright just uh some work shit" he said as he sighed "so how are you?" He said at a attempt to change the subject and his embarassment.

He could tell he wasn’t being very truthful, but he just nodded and avoided it for now. “I’m okay. I was already awake, so when I heard the phone I wanted to make sure everything was alright.”
