Dick frowned a bit when his Mother called him Richard and had that displeased look on her face, as far as he knew he hadn't done anything to get in trouble. He didn't even remember what he'd said to Jason this morning apart from that he needed to be good and stop tormenting the horses or their Mother would spank him.
"Well...all I said to him was that he needed to stop tormenting the Mares or you'd spank him." Dick answered honestly. Unlike Jason he was very trustworthy and hardly ever lied to his parents. "Did I say something wrong?" he asked a little concerned.
Bruce smiled proudly when Tim said he had been practising every day like he had been told to. "That's my boy." he said proudly. He'd felt bad when Tim was sort of ignored after Cassie came along, she had so many health problems it was hard to keep up with all his kids, at least now he had time to spend with all of them when he could. He took a stance and smiled, "En guard."
Alfred chuckled a little when Damian said he wanted bananas to eat. "Good choice little Prince." he answered and cut up a banana for him and put it in a bowl. He then put it on the high chair and started tidying up the nursery a bit while Damian ate.

Jen could tell from the look on Dick's face that he was scrambling to try and remember what he had done wrong, which wasn't a surprise to her. What he said he probably didn't truly mean and then it slipped his mind. Still, it bothered Jason so much that she needed to talk to Dick about it so he knew how his words could affect people. As King, he had to be careful about what he said afterall.
She sighed when Dick didn't remember what he said, but she knew he was being honest with her, "He told me you told him that I care more for the horses than I do for him," She reminded him, "Do you remember saying that now?"
Tim knew his parents were important people so he tried to understand when they couldn't spend time with him. He enjoyed all the time he got with them and his siblings, and he had Alfred when he was alone too. He smiled when his dad seemed so proud of him, he loved his dad so much and all he wanted to do was make him proud. He took his stance when told to and lunged at Bruce just like he did at Alfred.
Damian, for some reason, really liked bananas and if he could he'd eat them all day long. They were trying to get him to eat different stuff, but he always went back to bananas. He grinned at his favorite food and started eating them quickly, "Yummy!" He said happily as he ate.

Dick listened as his mother told him that he had told Jason she adored the Horses more than she adored him. "Oh...." he frowned, "I wasn't being serious, I was just joking, I didn't think he'd take that kind of thing to heart." he answered and sighed softly. "I'm sorry Mother, I'll apologize to Jason." he explained softly. Of course he'd never meant to hurt his brother's feelings, he loved each of his siblings, but he had a special bond with Jay because they were closer in age and grew up together.
Bruce was very skilled at fencing and had been since he was Tim's age or maybe a little bit older, so there was no one better to teach him really. He dodged his son's lunge and then made his own, getting Tim in the chest but not too hard, "Good lunge son, just remember to position your feet properly."
Alfred didn't mind that the child liked his bananas, it was high in potassium and healthy for him. Alfred liked to give him a balanced diet but snacks were always fruit or a little bit of cheese, he tried to give him a variety. "Is it nice, little one?"

Jen knew how close Dick and Jason were, they were probably the closest of any of the kids, so she knew that Dick didn't really mean it. But this wasn't something to joke about, and it had hurt Jason greatly. She listened when her eldest said he'd apologized and that he was just joking around, "This isn't something I ever want to hear you joking about Richard, especially not with Jason. Your father and I love you kids more than anything else in this world, and I would hope all you kids knew it. But when you're young it may seem like it isn't true, and someone may take it to heart... Like Jason did," She explained to him.
Tim had seen all of his dad's fencing trophies from when he was around his age up until he was older than Dick is, so he knew how good he was. He used to have a teacher but Bruce said that he wasn't as good as he wanted for his son, so he just took over with all of his siblings. He, of course, didn't mind. He enjoyed spending this time with his dad. He pouted some when he missed and his dad got him, but when Bruce corrected him he nodded, "Yes sir," He said before trying to get into the right position and tried again.
Each of the Wayne siblings had a favorite fruit and Damian's just happened to be bananas, which was nice since they had a banana tree on the property. No one minded since they were good for him and would help him grow, but they were trying to get him to try more things, "Yes!" He said to Alfred when he asked if it was nice before shoving more into his mouth.

"Alright mother, I'm sorry, and I will make it up to him." Dick answered and kissed her cheek, he really was a complete gentleman, and would one day be a wonderful King. "I'll go accompany the stable hands in retrieving the horses, if you like? That way I can maybe make up for what I did a little." Despite being sixteen, he knew Jen still saw him as her little Prince and it was hard for her to accept he was almost a man now.
Bruce made sure to correct any mistakes his son made with his fencing technique and he smiled when the boy followed his instructions. He took a lunge at him and Bruce didn't have time to block, so Tim got the point. "Very good son, you got me." he chuckled, a proud look on his face. "I think that's enough sparring for this morning, why don't you and I take a walk?" he suggested.
He loved to take his children around the land, and show them their Kingdom.
Alfred remembered when Dick was a baby, he also was partial to Bananas, and Jason liked peaches. He chuckled when Damian said the Bananas were good, his speech was coming along little by little. He cleaned up his mushy hands and face and then lifted him out of the high chair. "Now then, you may go play."

"I'm sure you will, Dick," Jen said, she never doubted that he would make up for it. Of all her kids he was the best about taking responsibility for his actions and doing what he could to correct his mistakes. She smiled some at his suggestion, goodness where did this smart young man come from? What happened to her little boy? "I think that would be excellent idea my dear, and I'm sure they'd appreciate the help," She said.
While Dick went to look for the horses Jen went and sat on the ground against the castle, holding her stomach. She had been having some stomach pain for the past few days.
Tim always tried to follow whatever corrections his parents gave him for anything, because he wanted to be as good as them and his older brothers. Fencing he took the most seriously besides his schooling, because he knew how much it meant to his dad. He grinned when he was actually able to get his dad, that barely happened for him. He at first was disappointed when Bruce said that was enough training, but then he mentioned a walk and he brightened up, "That sounds nice," He said with a smile.
Damian, Jen thought, liked bananas to much because his favorite toy was this stuffed monkey that held a banana. He never went anywhere without it. He squirmed some when Alfred cleaned him up but it was common for little ones to do so. As soon as he was set down to play he was up on his feet and toddling off to find, well really anyone. He just liked to move and play.

Dick smiled and nodded, "Alright, I won't be too long." he answered, grabbing a jacket and then he headed out on his own stallion to help the stable hands round up the frightened mares. It didn't take too long with Dick's natural equestrian nature, and soon the Mares were all back in their pens. Dick got his Stallion in the paddock and then headed back inside the palace.
Then, he noticed his Mother was holding her stomach and he frowned, "Mother, are you alright?" he asked concerned.
Bruce thought it was too nice of a day to stay inside, and taking his boy on a walk would be a good way to spend time before they were to go back for lunch. He grabbed his jacket and put his sabre away. "Let's go then." he smiled, wrapping an arm around his boy's shoulder and heading out of the palace with him.
Alfred followed after the small boy as he toddled out of the nursery and went to find some of his siblings to play with. He didn't like Damian going about the mansion by himself. He came across Cassie playing in her room and smiled, "Hello Princess Cassandra." he greeted.

Jen smiled and waved her son off, she knew he'd be back soon because he was a terrific rider - he always had been. Plus with the other stable hands she wasn't too concerned that rounding up the mares would take long. She trusted her son also to leave if things got too dangerous in the woods, so she wasn't worried about him at all. She just sat down against the castle wall and tried to get over this round of pain.
She hadn't even heard Dick return, "Oh, I'm fine dear," She tried to assure him. Her kids didn't need to worry about her, that was her job to worry about them.
Tim had noticed it was a beautiful day today, but this morning he had lessons so he couldn't go out and play get. Going out for a walk with his dad was even better though, so he was glad he waited. He ran to get his coat and then went out with his, walking close with him, "It's really nice out today," He said as he looked around. He loved the warm sunny days.
Damian led the way as he tried to find someone to play with, the first few rooms he went to were empty but he eventually found his sister's and went right in. She waved at her little brother as he went over to her toys before turning to Alfred, "Hello Alfred," She said to the kind old man with a smile.

Dick frowned a bit when his Mom told him she was fine and that he didn't need to worry, the teen wasn't so sure about that. He wasn't little anymore and he knew that his parents had problems at times. "Here, lay down." he said softly, getting her a hot water bottle for her stomach. He assumed it was just menstrual cramps.
"Can I get you anything?" he asked softly. Dick was a very caring soul, just like his Mother.
Bruce nodded his head, "It sure is, I'm glad the rainy season is over, though the crops have needed it." he explained and looked up, watching as griffins flew over them. He smiled, Gothamia was such a beautiful place though dark and a little morbid. He walked by his son's side and smiled, "So, have you had thoughts about what you would like to do when you come of age?"
Alfred still spent a lot of his time with Cassie because she needed so much care and attention due to her health problems. "What are you doing on this fine morning?" he asked with a small smile.

Jen didn't want her kids to worry about her, they were just kids and she wanted them to enjoy their childhood as long as they could. She tended to try and hide her problems until her children are fast asleep so they didn't have to be concerned. Or she would just try and deal with it when she was alone, like she thought she was now. She smiled some at Dick when he tried to be helpful, "Dick sweetie I'll be fine, I just need a minute is all," She promised him.
Tim shrugged a little, "I like the rain season too, as long as there's no thunder storms. Besides, the rain brings all the pretty flowers," He said, since he liked to garden with his mother. He looked up and smiled at the griffin, there were so many amazing creatures in Gothamia, it was incredible! He shook his head some when Bruce asked what he wanted to do when he was of age, "I don't know... Dick's gonna be King and Jason wants to be the Guard Captains, I don't know what's left..."
Cassie probably had the most needs of all 5 kids just because of her health problems, lately she had been pretty healthy but that could change at the drop of a hat, "Well earlier I was playing with mummy's makeup, and now I'm playing with me dolls," She said with a smile as she held up her favorite doll. She didn't know it, but it was designed to look like her grandmother.
