Beth clapped her hands happily at her victory and stepped over to the bed. She glanced back at Thomas before lifting her dress over her head and tossing it on a nearby chair. There wasn't much to be ashamed of since she sore her leather riding pants and a shirt underneath. She kicked off her boots and laid her hat and gun belt on the chair as well before climbing into the bed.

"G'night." She said with a yawn as she cureled up with the blankets.

Thomas shakily rose the next morning./ Ngh...it`s a good thing she`ll experience how it is sleeping under the stars.../ he thought to himself as he stretched his body. " Wake up, will you?" he said to Beth as he washed and shaved himself. " We have to eat and then get going. You can`t sleep in, princess." he said as he went over to her and shook her to get her awake.

A groan escaped Beth as she curled up in the bed. She listened to Thomas as he got himself ready before sighing deeply and rising from the bed. It'd been awhile since she had to wake up early, since she was a kid doing chores on the ranch. She rubbed her eyes as she stood, getting her own stuff ready.

"I was thinking..." Beth started with a deep yawn, "Wouldn't it be better crossing the frontier in a wagon?"

Thomas chuckled softly as he saw her reaction and how sleepy she was. He heard her suggestion and pondered it, he found it to be a good idea. " Hm...that is not a bad idea at all...we`ll be sheltered from the sun and from animals at night and it will probably be safer than just riding with two horses." he said, as he said his thoughts out loud to Beth. " I can chip in on that, I have some money from my last hunt." he said as he couldn`t help but smile at the woman.

Beth fixed her hair the best she could and sat in the chair, slowly slipping her boots back on her feet. She smirked confidently and look up at Thomas, "What if I said I knew where we could get one without spending a dime. We'd just have to be a little sneaky." She finished putting on her boots and leaned back, "Think you can do that?"

" Hmm...sure. I`m a bounty hunter, sweetheart...it`s my job." Thomas said and grinned at Beth. " Where do we go, then?" he asked as he walked down to the eating area with the woman. He made himself som slices of bread with some ham on top. " Do you want some coffee?" he asked as he held out a pot towards her.

"Yes please." She stated as she put on her gun belt and let out another yawn and stretched, "Its a ranch outside of town. They got a two-horse drawn carriage in a barn. Its locked but I can get us in." She smiled as she bit into a piece of bread, proud of her plan.

" Huh...fascinating...I never would have imagined you to be like this. I guess first impressions doesn`t always count." Thomas mused as he drank up his coffee and ate up his pieces of bread. " Well, then. I`m all set. Are you ready to go? Show the way." the blonde said as he held up the door for her. He carried some of their previous purchases. He had packed his share into the saddle bag that he usually had on his trusty horse, Blackie.

Gulping down her coffee, Beth grabbed another piece of bread before grabbing her things and stepped out into the street. She looked across the street at the tavern they'd met in, her horse George fidgeted, tied against the post. She packed the blanket into her saddle bag and strapped the rope to the side before climbing into the stirrups. She whistled to Thomas before setting off down the road.

The ranch lie about a half hour ride outside the town. She rode briskly, looking back at Thomas, "We gotta be real quiet riding up. The barn in a ways from the main house but I'm not sure how many people will be there." A frown crossed her face as she thought of her old home, and her older sister now residing inside, "And no shooting, We don't wanna kill anyone, just take the wagon." She shouted quickly.

Thomas rode slightly behind Beth, as he wanted to be as careful as possible and not rush into things. " Do you know the people that live on the ranch?" he asked her. He shook his head as she told him that he couldn`t shoot. " I can`t promise anything. If anyone shoots at me, I`ll shoot back at them....and probably hit them." he stated and chuckled, as he briefly looked down at his gun.
