Kalyn listened attentively as the door hissed open. It took her a moment to register what she was actually seeing, but just a moment. First, before her eyes laid upon Aisling, she noticed the trideo. Kalyn held no love for the things, they always seemed to portray everything that wasn't true, or a harsher reality of what was, excluding the biased news channels of course. The woman was rather impressed, the flat didn't seem to be anything special, but it was obvious that Marcus did have enough income to get himself situated neatly, for a fixer at least. The hat in Aisling's hand wasn't familiar to Kalyn, though, she was aware of the movement, a supporter even. "The hat, is it yours?", Kalyn blew past the girls words, she wasn't a fool, and she wouldn't be surprised if an elven girl had such a thing in her possession, but there was also the matter of what Marcus had said before.

"No...", Aisling admited softly and put it back where she had found it respectfully. "Look, I wasn´t going to do anything with it. I know it is tempting with all of this cool stuff, but I like Marcus and he doesn´t deserve it.", the little elf said. She did sound pretty sorry for what she did. But of course it was a bit of a risk to trust her now. Unless of course Aisling received the disciplin she probably deserved. They did have privacy and a bit of time left...

Kalyn scanned the girl from head to toe once more before finally releasing a sigh. She felt that it was commendable, Aisling did indeed seem to be sorry, but obviously she knew not to touch the stuff. No doubt that if Marcus was going to warn Kalyn against touching it, he wouldn't go without warning the street kid about the same. The woman looked around momentarily, she moved towards a small table that sat in front of a pair of clear windows. They revealed the dark sky, and the rain that was still making it's grand appearance. A second later and Kalyn had pulled one of two chairs out and sat it right in front of the small table. "Right.. he doesn't. So, do you want to tell me why you decided to mess with his things, if you weren't going to do anything with it?" Kalyn didn't think the girl would try and steal.. but then, she didn't really know her at all so there was that. She planted herself down on the hard wooden chair a second later.

"Oh I don´t know... he always tells me his stuff is taboo, but just once I wanted to take a closer look. It sad you know, so much money just lying around here, invested in stuff that he doesn´t really Need, while out there we street children are starving.", Aisling said and lowered her head a little. She seemed a bit sad now. Would there be consequences? The elf Girl didn´t like the way the runner was sitting on that chair, she had a bad feeling she´d be asked to come and bend over any second now... just like Marcus had done that one time she had been to naughty. "I think I will dress myself quick.", Aisling announced, mostly to end the silence and maybe get Kalyn to reconsider punishing her.

"Uh-huh, but here's the thing, Aisling. Marcus did tell you against messing with his stuff. Whether it be worth five nuyen, or several thousand." Kalyn was speaking with an attempt to sound soft, it was incredibly difficult to try and make it sound meaningful, as meaningful as it was. "Come here." She said simply, her voice wasn't angry, it had lost the softness it held, it was neutral and even. Her task was already assigned from the moment Marcus had mentioned it, she just didn't think it'd ever have to be done.. but first there were other things in order. The last thing Kalyn wanted was the child to be scared of her, especially if they were to take on a job, trust was surprisingly important for those who so often betrayed it. "You can dress afterwords."

Aisling obeyed, right now she was just glad that Kalyn wasn´t shouting at her and still seemed to like her. She was much calmer than Marcus. However, that didn´t mean that the punishment wouldn´t be bad. When the orc had spanked her she at least still had been wearing her thick pants, which protected her rear quite a lot. Like this she had only been sore for the rest of the evening.
"Are you going to spank me?", the elf asked in a tone that was almost a whisper. She knew she deserved it for touching the memorabilia, but she still wanted to get away with it.

Each of Kalyn's eyes followed Aisling as she made her way over. When the little elven girl reached her destination, Kalyn simply sighed. She could almost feel the more than likely nervousness that was being generated off of Aisling. For a long, drawn out minute, the woman stayed silent, as if processing an overwhelming amount of data that was all being scanned over in her brain. "Yes, I am." Her voice was just barely overtaken by another sigh, this wasn't going to be easy. Not only because Kalyn had never spanked anyone in her entire life, but also because she knew the girl was feeling regretful. However, rather than simply pulling the girl over her lap instantly, she stood for a second and awkwardly embraced Aisling.

Aisling stiffened when she heard that she would indeed get a spanking. But when Kalyn suddenly pulled her into a hug she became more surprised than scared. Alltough her eyes widened in confusion for a moment she quickly relaxed and leaned into the embrace. It wasn´t very often that People showed her such affection. "Don´t worry. I´ll survive.", the little elf said softly. She almost had the Impression this was harder on Kalyn than it was on her. Which was no surprise, considering how vulnerable she looked, only covered by a towel and her hair.

The hug hadn't been for the fact that Aisling was going to get punished, instead, it was simply to give some form of comfort. But it was still like Kalyn had told Marcus, she had absolutely no idea how it was that one was supposed to handle a child, an elven one no less. She smirked slightly, it was a relief that the girl didn't act so.. troublesome when told about the coming punishment, or perhaps Aisling had felt such things but neglected the option of showing them. No matter, after another minute of allowing the hug to linger, Kalyn sat down again. She realized she'd have to take it easy, well, easier, given that the girl was practically bare. "Do you want to tell me why you're getting a spanking?" Kalyn figured at the very least, it might do the girl some good to voice the reason why she was in trouble.

"Well, I touched stuff I wasn´t allowed to touch. I know I´ve been a bad Girl and deserve to be punished.", Aisling said, looking up to Kalyn with her big red eyes. She did seem nervous, alltough the hug certainly had comforted her a little. "I wish we can make this quick. Please don´t do it too hard, okay? I´d hate if my butt would not permit me to sit down anymore.", she said pouting and lowering her head again. Aisling knew it had to hurt in order to be memorable, but that didn´t make it any easier. Yet somehow, in a strange way, she was also enjoying the Attention. There weren´t many People who would spend time teaching a street kid manners.
