Kalyn allowed her own gloved hands to rest on the tops of her knees. She kept the pose for a few seconds while Aisling took care of her darkened bottom. The woman was silent, she didn't know if she should scold more.. or comfort the child. A few seconds later and she chose the latter, gently she opened her arms a bit, as if to offer a hug if one was desired. Kalyn still felt it a bit awkward.. but hoped that it would enforce the knowledge that all was forgiven now, and they could actually get underway with what had originally been planned.

What Aisling needed now definately was comfort, not more punishment. When Kalyn opened her arms the girl basicly jumped into them, holding on to the woman tightly. They remanined like this for quite a while, before the Little elf slowly let go. "Now I really should get dressed...", she pointed out and hurried up. After all she didn´t want Kalyn to be late to her meeting with Mr. Smith because of her.

Kalyn returned the tight hug, to her, it was probably the strangest thing she'd ever encountered. Not that she didn't understand it, if she could get a tight hug and a pat on the back for every time she'd gotten injured, she'd probably be a model citizen my now. When Aisling pulled away, Kalyn gently did the same, with a sort of half-faced grin. "Yes, you should.", The woman had planned to inform the girl of a few things she should, and shouldn't, do, especially when faced with a precarious, or.. sensitive situation. "Go on, I'll be waiting here." Kalyn stood and pushed the chair back like it was beforehand.

Aisling briefly dissapeared into the small bathroom of the Apartment where she had left her clothes. Soon she emerged again, fully dressed once more and rubbing her butt again. The touch of the fabric on her sore Skin wasn´t exactly pleasant, but she tried to endure it with dignity and did not let it distract her. "Okay, I am ready to leave with you if you´ve already discussed everything with Marcus and if you are really fine with me coming along. Did the old orc have a good run for you?", the Little elf asked curious.

Kalyn waited patiently, even though time was limited there was still enough of it, more or less. When the girl was to be seen by Kalyn's eyes again, it was with concealed sympathy, she had only hoped that the spanking hadn't been too bad. Though, to Kalyn, it seemed like the child still wanted to come along. "First off, I do still plan to take your along, though on the way there, we'll have some things to talk about." There was a minute long sigh before she said anything more, " And secondly, the run is just a burgluary for a Mr. Smith, ideally, it'll go off without a hitch. We're to meet him Lucky Star Hotel, if we leave now, we'll make it with time to spare.

"Okay... I don´t mind talking with you about some serious stuff. You are a nice lady.", Aisling said softly and stopped rubbing her bottom. The sting had become more bearable, but wasn´t gone completly. "A burglary, huh? Sounds like I could almost pull it off on my own. That is... if the building is not too secure. A warehouse or something shouldn´t be a problem, but if it is one of these Museums...", the Little elf said with a slight smirk," Well, then let´s go. I know the Lucky Star Hotel. It really is not that far."

The woman was taken back, "Nice lady".. She'd never been called such a thing, other than by ogling runners who really should learn some manners. Kalyn managed to go without smiling over the.. compliment, but still found it rather strange. At any rate, she was relieved that the girl didn't seem too distraught over her punishment. Kalyn found Aisling's self-confidence refreshing, sure, the majority of runners she met always felt the need to gloat about their achievements, wealth, or something or another. Although, few actually ever deserved commendation. "Lead the way." She said, ideally.. it'd at least let the elf feel like an actual runner.

"Alright, I just hope the rain has stopped... some day I have to buy a jacket of some kind...", the girl said and lead the way to the bar downstairs. She gave Marcus a nod and then opened the door to the streets were the wheather indeed seemed to have become somewhat better. Everything else was as grey and depressing as usual however, with only grafitti adding some garish splashes of color every now and then. Most of it belonged to gangs trying to mark there territory. A somewhat more effective way of doing this was marking it with corpses of the enemy gangs. Aisling and Kalyn saw a men hung on a lamppost. A sign had been attached to the corpse, it was pretty hard to read however. The features of the man looked like they had been burned by acid, which was a speciality of the Yardies. Aisling did not pay any attention to this, but lead her new companion through some alleys, which were a shortcut to the Lucky Star Hotel.

"If all goes well, you'll have ten." Kalyn spoke steadily, but neutrally. The fact of the matter was, now wasn't a time for idle conversation, gangs, triads, and the common criminal all wandered about in such parts. The hanged men were arguably the least gruesome thing that Kalyn had ever seen, she just didn't know how much that would effect Aisling. From what she could tell, it didn't seem to bother her much, Kalyn wasn't entirely sure whether she should be glad, or upset. On one hand it meant that she wasn't easy to scare, well, traumatize at least, and on the other hand, it meant that she'd been growing up seeing such things so frequently that she naturalized them. "So, I'm just going to go ahead and assume you know how to defend yourself. I have strong doubts that a child like you, wandered around parts like these, without protection. You need to stay alert, no doubt you already know that." The woman had decided now would be the best time to start that talk she promised earlier.

"Well... I try not to get into any fights. I have a knife hidden in my boot in case of an emergency, but I am only eleven. Yet, I´ve been shown how to shoot a pistol. If you give me a handgun I can back you up in case we get into a firefight.", Aisling explained, "My skills are mostly negotiation, distraction and stealth. Not even a hardened criminal will shoot a little girl at first sight. In nine out of ten cases at least. Just as they started to talk they already could see the Lucky Star Hotel. It distinguished itself from the tenement blocks by it´s bright pink neon sign, which shaped like a star of course. In front of the building several prostitutes seemed to be looking for customers. Their cadaverous bodies seemed to indicate a lifetime of drug abuse.
