It is early evening in the city. THe grass freshly sprinked with water, only to be disrupted as a young girl stumbles through. After running awayover a year ago, she now decided to return to her home because of how she had lived on the streets in the next town to hte north. She left because she felt unloved, but felt even more lonely on the streets

As she treads through the park, she struggles to stay concious, having spent the past few days getting here from the other town. A patroling cop in hte area soon spots her and moves to investigate as she collapses from exhaustion and fatigue

Her father, a noble in the town had spent the last year worried to death. Not the expressive term but to literal death, he was wracked with guilt and pain so much so that he barely left his home. He was weak and spent most of his time in bed. It was only two years ago that his wife had passed and it wasn't easy for him to raise a daughter, he really didn't know how to all that well and that made him a failure. He would have done anything to have his daughter back so he could make things right. That's all he wanted.

THe cop sees the girl's ocndition and decides to take her to the station. After helping her regain conciousness and get some information from her, a social worker proceeded to look up the information and call the girl's father

As he laid in bed he heard the phone and eventually picked up the receiver. "Yes.... hello, who is there?" He asked weakly it being one of his worse days where he had no strength to even answer the phone let alone get out of bed.

"Hello, sir" the social worker said "I have a girl by the name of Joyce here at the police station"

As she waited, Joyce was sitting on a nearby bench, sipping a small cup of water

"Joyce... that's.... that's my daughter's name she's been missing for over a year now..." He spoke with growing energy and stamina as he tried to sit up. "Is she... is she dead?"

"No, she's right here at the station near the park" the social worker said " An officer found her stumbling aorund just a while ago. She is greatly fatigued, but has said she is desperate to return to her father. She won't say much else and is currently resting here"

"I... I will be right there." He told her still stunned as he started to get out of bed. It took him a bit of time but he finally dressed himself but walked out of his home with a blanket around him, still feeling weak like he was sickly. Her father was driven to the police station where he eventually found himself with the social worker. "Joyce..." He muttered and fell to his knees. "Its... its me your father, your father Andrew..." Andrew started to cry as he looked at the girl.

As she waited, Joyce rested on the bench, so exhausted that hse couldn't stay awake much more. THe social worker stayed with her for a while till Andrew came up to the desk

Joyce moaned a bit as she stirred once she regestered Andrew's voice "Daddy?" she mumbled as she sat up, rubbing her eyes

"Joyce... Joyce... come to daddy sweetheart." He cried out as he went over and fell down as he tried to go over to her and hugged her tightly to his body. "Oh Joyce, I thought I lost you forever... my little baby girl..."
