"Hehe, thanks!" she grinned, before her eyes widened at the gun and she quickly leapt back to dodge, starting to jump back and forth to avoid the shots, then raising her scythe over her head and firing again so the force through her at him to swing her scythe down.

Terra then imediately switches back to melee and locks his blade with hers. "You've been taught well." he praised then gave a smirk. "But so have I...!" he forces her scythe down to the side then hits her in the gut with the pole end of his lance. As she is sent backward, he chages to range again and fires several shots at her. Then he crouches close to the ground, building up momentum then springing up ward, shooting himself up into the air. With the sun at his back it would prove hard for her to see him descend upon her like a missile.

"Heh, thanks- HEY!" Ruby yelped, her scythe going down before grunting at the blow. She looked up with a growl and quickly started parrying his shots again before staring when he went up into the air, then blinking and holding up a hand to try and get the sun out of her eyes when she tried to see him.

Terra impacts the ground which she stood on and large cloud of dust and dirt is kicked up. Once it settled, Terra would be on top of her with his lance pointed meer inches over her face. He smirks "Looks like I win this one." he said before getting up off of her. He then outstretches a hand to help pull her up.

Ruby yelped as he suddenly hit the ground and knocked her over, groaning and shaking her head as the dust cleared before staring as she saw him over her head. "Woah... heh, you're really good." she said, smiling as she reached up and took his hand.
