RWBY: Ice Princess and Her Best Butler (For rrichmon)

"Why pray tell, were you with a Faunus, a mutant no less!" Her father asked, furious. He is not a fan of Faunus, they all looked like freaks to him, but Midnight? The look on his face and the tone of his voice, tells you that freak to him was too light for his taste.

Midnight's eyebrow rose in confusion, he didn't like where this was going for himself and Weiss.

Weiss looked down and rubbed her feet against the ground she was scared, "Yes, but but he's nice, hes my friend" his daughter would tell him "he came to help me when others were picking on me" she said in a low voice looking at her feet

"Is that so? How do you know he's not messing with you? He probably staged it! I don't trust faunus and neither should you, especially one like him!"he scolded.

"Hey, Why don't you lay off her Ice King!"he insulted.

"How dare you, you little-*sigh* I will have someone put you down like a dirty animal you Mutan freak!"Her father walked up and kicked Midnight in face, injuring his nose! Midnight yelled out in pain as he clutched his nose.

Weiss rubbed her feet together and closed her eyes as her father scolded her for trusting the faunus blaming him for setting it up, his mistrust for teh hybrids was a terrible trait of his and weiss never saw anything wrong with them.

She could hear midnight come to her rescue yet again but perhaps it would have been better if he didnt. She saw how angry her father got after hearing him scold midnight now and then walking up and kicking him in the face hearing her new friend cry out in pain and hold his face was too much.

Weiss ran to her friend and stepped infront of her father "NO STOP He's my friend" she yelled at he father growing brave for the safety of her friend.

"You're 'friend' is an embarrassment to our kind on this planet,"he hissed before starting to regain his composure,"Come Weiss, you have no need for this garbage. If I catch you with him or anyone else, that hiney of yours is gonna get the blistering of a lifetime with my cane,"He turned and headed back to his car.

Midnight stood up and looked at the hand that had covered his nose. There was a little blood on it, but he'll be fine. He looked at Weiss. "Hey, Weiss."he called her name.

She looked at midnight and heard her father's threat to tan her hide with the cane, she shook at that her father had quite the collection of disciplinary implements. she had gotten to know all of them at one point or another. she started to follow her dad but heard midnight call for her..

she turned to the hybrid and looked at him "Y-Yes Midnight?" she looked at him with her big eyes expressing her sorrow for her fathers actions and words.

"I don't care what he tells me and what he says you can't do. Bit I'm your friend, and I promise to protect and help you when something goes wrong. He won't keep us apart,"he said. He had a plan, it was a guaranteed to work, he then asked her this,"Remember when I said I was fast?"

Weiss smiled as she heard her friend tell her that he is still her friend and that he wasnt to protect and help her if and when something goes wrong. she nodded he told her if she remembered when he said he was fast she stopped and looked at him turning her head on a tilt.

"yeah... but whhy?" she said confused

Midnight looked around and tried to see how he could demonstrate this. "Hmm...Oh. I know! You know about this toy store about 2 miles from the park?"he asked.

She scratched her head and nodded "yes? what about it?" she said curiously wondering what he father must be thinking while she talks to her friend
