After she was awakened as a Sage, Saria returned to Kokiri Forest where she was greeted by the children known as Kokiri, as well as Mido was always so protective of her. While she was touched that everyone missed her,... there's always one who she'll never get out of her mind...

Link... To her, even if he's grown up, he was always a kid... he was her best friend... she missed him ever since he left the forest to embark on his journey. Surely, he came back to visit but that was only once. When she finally got the chance to meet up with him seven years later, it felt too short...

Saria decided that she would meet up with Link; he must be back in Hyrule Castle appointed as Zelda's knight due to his bravery... right? So, the girl left the forest, remembering the story that their guardian told them that should a Kokiri leave the forest, they would die afterwards.

Being in the forest was not a good idea-at least someone being alone in the forest without really any battle experince was not a good idea.

As Saria was traveling through the forest,she gathered...a few intrested vistors...all of which were stalking her and were monsters who wanted to kill her .They ranged from deku babas to mad scrubs to skulltulas. They were just waiting for her to stop so they could surround her and take her out.

Saria needed to leave the Lost Woods as soon as possible. If she stayed here too long, then she might meet the hostile inhabitants of the dark Forest Temple. She wouldn’t even dream of entering that place again, especially when she was easily subdued and kidnapped to act as bait for the Hero of Time.

So she trudged across the grass, boot soles sinking into the ground ever so softly, as she looked at every nook and cranny for any signs of monsters... Nothing... but as she entered the next area...
