Well ya thats what they say, but I was wondering if theres another possibility that the universe is just infinitely long and big bangs create matter at certain places of it. Cause we never really seen 'the end of the universe' , how can we be sure that the universe is made of something at all.

Because there is really no such thing as "cold". When an object feels "cold" to the touch, that's because it has a lower temperature than you do, so when you touch it, heat (energy) flows out of you and into it. Heat is like water - it flows downhill, so to speak (down the temperature gradient).

So, now imagine that you have two piles of matter - stuff. Now, push the stuff together. One of two things might happen. One - all of the stuff is the same temperature, so no net heat flow from one pile of stuff to the other occurs. Say 10J/s (or W, watts) of heat is flowing out of me into an object (an object that is colder than me, so the heat flow occurs). You might say that 10W of "cold" is flowing OUT of the object, and IN to me. Same energy flow, just a different direction.

Thx, I am just hoping the universe is alrdy endless space, that way we are not likely to end up in a big freeze due to expansion of the universe. My hope is that the universe is made eternal after its creation and stays that way =/
