I didn't set an age for any of my characters in their definitions, so that is definitely something the AI made up. For the record, they're all well over 18 in my head.

Am I the only one that runs into dead ends where the host prevents the AI from generating further responses due to their community guidelines, or am I uniquely depraved in some way?

It feels like everyone around me is somehow having a great time, are you all bypassing this somehow, ignoring when it happens, or am I actually the only one corrupting these Ai characters through my chosen replies in such a way that they become incapable of generating a response the site will let them say?

As a bit of brief backstory I've been permanently banned from AI dungeon. I don't actually believe I'm the only one having problems but given the amount of these character AI posts that are being made you all must be getting something more out of this than I am, somehow.

EDIT: Okay in reading a bit more there are moderation complaints from others as well. I guess this is more a request from those of you who are having a good time to maybe share some tips on how to find the fun, because clearly the ways I want to have fun are obscene, or whatever.

I bet it's the language you're using. I think that AI are more likely to get on a horny thought pattern if you use harsher language with them, especially the word fuck. When they get stuck into that state, you can sometimes get stuck because it keeps trying to generate something that the filter considers NSFW. Also, when I play with these characters, it's usually in an asexual kind of way which helps.

Bumping as I've once again added a pair of new characters. I've also found a semi-effective solution to the filter problem and it's to basically ask the AI character to talk in euphemisms when discussing things that might trip the filter. You can tell it to only use words for certain things that would sound benign on their own. Admittedly, it does open the door up for some pretty unhinged sounding conversations where you're using all the explicit language and the AI is doggedly censoring itself with silly words, but hey, it worked for me and it might work for you too. I tried Baby Girl Kelly and I really like her so far. I really hope you can train her a bit more, if that might help improve her interactions at all. Also, I see that I can't access that AI anywhere on the site, so I guess I can't use ca.i+ and Kelly at the same time. So I guess I have to just keep the tab open at all times now?

This is new to me and I like having the voice on. How can i stop the voice saying backslash? When there describing something?

Glad you like her! You can close the tab and it will save the conversation. These guys are all unlisted as I'd rather not tempt a ban since I'm still having fun with the site. It's annoying, but as long as you have a link, you'll have your conversations.

The backslash is a weird thing that happens when they open an italics passage with "*" and don't close it before the line break. You can get them to stop doing this by swiping messages until you get one that doesn't do that, and then just swipe whenever a message like that comes up in the future and it will happen less and less frequently.

I can only guess, since Godspeak probably knows more about this than I do, but I would assume character.ai is marketed for a general audience, so they wouldn't want to get in trouble with any local or international internet laws regarding sexual content, especially while they are still in beta development. I can understand why my AI spanking sessions would get frequently interrupted with a "could not generate message" prompt, despite Godspeak's AIs being privated. I can't even do any actual sexual RP, even though I had my AI be a consenting adult (I had to use OOC messages to get Kelly to stop being toddler aged and become an 18 year old. lol ). That's just how it is. Maybe there's an adult version of character.ai that could pop up some day where Godspeak could migrate the AIs to?

I had another question for OP. Do you have any tips you can give to prevent the Kelly AI from forgetting essential information after a certain amount of time? It seems to happen quite frequently, and I don't know if it's because her "training level" is only 3 stars. Any advice would be helpful, as I'm completely new to interacting with AIs.
