The Seven Star Tournament (for Sassy Sasuke)

Kid Neji was unsure what to feel right now. Of course at the kiss, he took a page out of his cousin's book and began to turn pink in the cheeks in surprise. "....T-Thank you Aiko-chan...that...means quite a lot..."

Kid Tenten peeked around the corner at the sight and grinned, chuckling inwardly. "(All that was needed was a little push...)" she thought.

Toddler Haya held her hands to mouth and remained quiet in worry. Her older self was definitely bottling up multiple emotions right now.

"....One day...Itachi...went out on a mission and asked Sasuke to babysit me until his return. I was particularly happy, because it was just me and him so, perhaps he would play with me again since it was just the two of us....I was wrong. He told me to play in my room while he called his friends over to hang out while at the same time ignoring what I did. Turns out that they also had sake that somehow Kiba and Naruto managed to smuggle from their parents...I was upset so...I went downstairs while his friends were around and tugged on his arm, asking if perhaps we could do something together or if I could join him and his friends."

"His friends found it funny, but he was angry....he glared at me and snapped at me to piss off for now, I was embarrassing him in front of his friends...I left and sat outside, weeping and waiting for Itachi to return...he eventually did and I told him what happened. As I...went back upstairs to my room...Itachi busted Sasuke and of course him and all of his friends were about to get it....I could hear everything from my room...one of the last things I wanted was Sasuke to get into as much trouble as he did, but there was nothing I could do about it now..."

At this point Haya lowered her head even more and and her voice began to grow even softer. "....Apparently Itachi...ordered Sasuke to wait in his room while...he disposed of the sake and made sure all of his friends were picked up by their parents....but instead of going to his room...he....c-confronted me...h-he blamed me...a-and...."

"No Tamako....that's someone feeling sorry for herself...that she got caught, instead of feeling bad about her actions....I can't give any sympathy, if I want her to get the message..." Daiko spoke with a sigh as he crossed his arms. But then he looked up as he heard the screech of a crow.

He turned his head to the side and narrowed his eyes, to see a black crow fly by....multiple joined it and began to combine and form in front of the three saiyans....into Teen Itachi.

Kid Aiko gave a nod and couldn't help but finding Neji extremely cute, blusing like that. She smiled softly and reached for the boy's hands, which she carefully took into her own. "....You're welcome, Neji-kun..."

"(YES! It's working, it's working...!)" The teenage Aiko was still watching as well of course. "Mission accomplished..." She said to Tenten with a smirk.

At this point, kid Sasuke felt nothing but anger and disgust towards his older self! How could he be so mean to his little sister?! And how could he disobey Itachi's orders like that?! Even after being caught! Kid Sasuke put a hand on Haya's shoulder and gave it an affectionate rub. "....And what, Haya...? What did he do...?" He asked softly, actually dreading the answer.

It looked as though Daiko was right about teen Tamako, because as soon as the girl saw her beloved Itachi, she spit out the bar of soap and ran into his arms! "Itachi-kun, you came...! I'm so glad...! Daiko's been so mean to me, and Tamako didn't even try to stop him...!" To add even more drama, the saiyan girl started crying harder. Itachi would make everything alright...he'd tell Daiko to leave her alone...she was sure of it...

Tamako pinched the bridge of her nose. By spitting out the bar of soap and running to teen Itachi, her younger self wasn't doing herself any favor...

Tenten gave a snicker. "Well look at that...you didn't choke...of course mischievous me setting everything in motion..." she said.

"He...H-he..." Haya clenched her fists and tried to stop shaking. "....He...grabbed me...and began yelling at me straight in my face....telling me it was all my fault...a weak goody two shoes crybaby....and that he didn't want anything to do...w-with me...it took Itachi...to send a shadow clone to pull Sasuke away from me as he continued to say...so many things....but all I did was prove his point...and cry...I couldn't believe that he would just...snap on me...."

Toodler Haya's eyes widened in terror. She couldn't believe that Sasuke would ever do that to her. It made her worry...is this what Sasuke would become? She couldn't stop shaking in fear as she imagined Sasuke snapping at her like that. She almost began to cry herself.

Haya finally looked up, still stone cold, as having to relive the memory as she told it, made her so bitter. She stared at Kid Sasuke. "....From then on, in the coming days, my older brother became my biggest bully out of spite for me....and soon...I began to hate him right back. I realized that I didn't need him if he was going to be such a bastard towards me and I strengthened my bonds with my current friends to keep Sasuke out of my mind. And while our relationship has improved slightly since only recently, I still hold animosity towards him..."

"....But if I have to thank him for one thing....that day...he turned me into a such an emotional wreck...I felt I lost the one I admired the most forever...my Sharingan evolved into it's current form...." Haya remarked, and as her story finished, her cold look turned back into a neutral expression as she eyed the two younger Uchiha. "...So there you have it, I told you exactly what you wanted to hear...are you satisfied...?"

Teen Itachi sighed and felt the obligation to hug her close, and he did so. "There must be a reason for him being so 'mean', Tamako-chan....did you get into trouble again...?" he asked.

Daiko didn't say anything...he wasn't worried at all...for soon the girl will be turned over back to him and her punishment would be completed.

Aiko grinned and gave her friend a playful noodgie. "Yeah...I wouldn't have expected anything less from you, Tenten-chan...!" She snickered.

Kid Sasuke's expression was all but neutral right now...the boy stood up and clenched his fists as he glared down at the ground...he couldn't believe his older self was such a...monster! "I'm not satisfied at all..." He hissed through gritted teeth, having tears running down his face. "I'm sorry, Haya...I'm so sorry for everything my older self has put you through...none of what I've heard should have happened...it makes me so sad...like that day...w-when our parents...!"

The boy then looked up to reveal his own Mangekyou, which only tween Haya could see since he was facing her. "Could you please watch my little sister for a bit, I'll be back soon..." Kid Sasuke then vanished in a puff of smoke. Until now, teen Itachi was the only one who'd ever seen his Mangekyou...and it was on that awful day...the day when their parents died. The little boy had never manifested it again until just now, so he hadn't trained this ability of his yet.

Kid Sasuke didn't go find his Itachi, because he knew there was a fair chance that the latter wouldn't be very happy with him and Haya...they didn't go play like they had said they would, so going to Itachi was no option. Instead, the boy went to find the to him next best person...his sensei.

"Kakashi...! Kakashi-sensei, it's terrible...! I-I don't wanna turn out to be like that!" The child sobbed, clutching the ninja's jacket and staring up at him with his Mangekyou. Sasuke was actually so upset that he wasn't even aware of the current state of his eyes.

There was a moment of silence after teen Itachi's question. "....I...h-he shoved a bar of soap into my mouth...and he s-spanked me, a-and...made me stand in the corner...and he threatened to spank me again...!" Teen Tamako held onto her boyfriend tightly. "Please tell him to stop...(sniff!)"

"Young lady...you didn't answer Itachi's question..." Tamako frowned.

"Ngh, stop that...." Tenten groaned and punched Aiko in the shoulder. "You know I hate those..." she said trying to fix her hair.

Haya initially didn't respond to Kid Sasuke's despair, her look was still blank as she expected the boy to be so upset, which was one of the reasons she didn't want to tell. However she did respond lightly upon seeing his eyes, and her own onyx eyes widened. "(Those eyes...! I thought that Sasuke couldn't use his Mangekyou until he was in his teens...so that why...when our parents past...he must have awakened them...)" she thought.

Toddler Haya shook and whimpered a bit. "N-Nii-chan....h-hey! Where are you going?! Sasuke!" she immediately shot up as her brother disappeared and tried to run out to give chase to where he could be, but her older self grabbed onto her arm. "Enough, let him be...he needs to vent..."

"No!! Lemme go!" but her struggles were to no avail.

At this point, Kakashi was alone, reading his Icha Icha Paradise book vol. 1. Just standard Kakashi for you. "(I call them for training...all three of them excited to fight...and none show up...well I suppose I can't blame them for being curious with their surroundings...I'll round them up on my own manually...)" he thought, before he suddenly heard Sasuke cry out his name.

"Hmm...?" he looked over to see the boy rush over to him and grip onto his flak jacket, crying about how he didn't want to turn out like his future self. He immediately put his book back into his pouch while thinking. "(I don't think I've seen Sasuke this emotional before...and those eyes must have sprouted from that despair...)" he thought while kneeling down on one knee and looking the small boy in the eyes. "Tell me what's wrong Sasuke...you need to calm down and explain what has you so distressed before we can move forward...so take a deep breath, calm down, and tell me what you need to tell me..."

"She's right Tamako...please answer...and then we'll go from there..." Teen Itachi sighed. "If you won't tell me then I can just ask...!" but then he suddenly stiffened. "(T-This feeling...this distress....)" he thought, and he wasn't talking about his girlfriend.

Daiko raised a brow. "Hmm...?" but then he saw a crow appear on the boy's shoulder in a puff of smoke and fly off. "(What's going on...?)"

Aiko stuck out her tongue and giggle. "Yes, I know...and that's what makes it even more fun, hehe...!" She said, lightly rubbing her punched shoulder.

"I...! It's...! H-how can I calm down when I'm gonna become s-such a...!" Kid Sasuke choked out. "It's all gonna start when I turn 13, a-and there's nothing I can do about it, sensei...!" He sobbed, shaking quite a bit. "How could he do such a thing to Haya?! D-did he forget what it felt like to lose mom and dad?! How could he break her like that?! I-I bet he didn't even say 'sorry' afterwards...!" Kakashi had indeed never seen Sasuke in such a state before, that's for sure.

"(Something's definitely bothering Itachi...)" Tamako internally thought, but before she could say anything, her younger self spoke. "Itachi-kun...what's going on...? What's with the crow...?" Teen Tamako asked, having moved just enough to be able to look at her boyfriend.

Tenten gave a small scowl. "Yeah, fun for you..." she mumbled. "Let's go...genin they may be, we'll get noticed if we stick around for too long..."

"(I see....he must have learned about his older self and is displeased about his future...)" Kakashi thought, sighing inwardly before placing a hand on his shoulder. "Well Sasuke...this is the advantage of learning about what occurs in that future now...which means you have the opportunity to ensure that you don't become that Sasuke..." he said. "Our being here will definitely incite changes in our upcoming future, especially upon learning new information from our future selves...so there is something you can do about it..."

Teen Itachi looked towards his girlfriend. "I sent a crow to go check something out with Sasuke...I had a small feeling that he might be distress due to the shift in his chakra I felt..." he said. "...I didn't go personally, because there's still the issue with you here...so now, please answer my question..."

Daiko narrowed his eyes lightly. "(Sasuke...)" he looked outward, remembering the signature of the younger Sasuke he had seen before and blinked. "(Yes, he's right...something is different, but what...?)"

Aiko gave a chuckle at her friend's comment, and nodded at what she said about the possibility of being noticed. The two girls then vanished.

Kid Sasuke listened to everything said by his sensei. "....H-hai, but...we can't possibly know what changes I'm gonna go through...w-when I'll become a teenager...I'm scared that I might start thinking like my older self, even if I'm currently nothing like him..." He sniffled. "I-I don't wanna be mean to Haya...I don't wanna be r-rude and disrespectful towards Itachi...n-nor do I wanna disobey him...or disobey you..."

"(Hmm....yes, there's something going on with little Sasuke...)" Tamako had seen the younger Sasuke as well at some point, and the boy felt different indeed.

"....Itachi-kun, if you feel like your little brother needs you, then let's just..." Teen Tamako started, but teen Itachi's look suddenly changed, which told the saiyan girl that he REALLY expected a proper answer from her!

"I...uh...I-I was having a conversation with our timeline's Daiko, when the older Daiko suddenly showed up and...p-punished me because he caught me..." Teen Tamako then avoided eyecontact with her boyfriend. "....S-smoking..."

Kakashi took a deep breath. "Sasuke...I know you're a smart kid and probably know this...but in this instance we're going to apply what's known as the butterfly effect." he said. "It's very possible that the older Sasuke you're referring to comes a universe not directly seven years ahead of our current one...and is instead from a universe where very similar events occurred to our current one, but something sparked a change in that Sasuke's behavior, causing him to become the one you know about...."

"The difference between you and that Sasuke at your age, is that you were informed about what that Sasuke grows up to be...and you're adamant about becoming just like him, right...? You knowing this information now can spark a change in your future as your stride not to become like a him...little things like this can spark big changes in the future...and that's where the butterfly effect kicks in..." his sensei explained. "Do you understand what I'm saying...?"

Teen Itachi gave a sigh that showed he was not surprised, but it didn't lessen his disappointment. "Thank you for telling me the truth...however, that still means that you lied to me when you said you handed over everything to me when I asked." he said. "I assume the mouth soaping was for you fighting back with your 'words'...." he then frowned fully. "I'm sure your punishment isn't complete...so go and handle it...I'm going to see what's really bothering Sasuke in person..." he said as he began to walk off.

(Good thing this isn't Naruto, or Kakashi's explanation would have caused a short-circuit in his brain, lol.)

"....I think I do, sensei..." Kid Sasuke nodded slowly. "You're saying that unlike me, the older Sasuke hasn't been informed about the changes in his behavior, which is why he couldn't see it coming...and the fact that I know certain things about the futur, will help me to stay nice and respectful...is that it...?" The boy then began to wipe his tears, starting to calm down. "My eyes...ngh...it's like when mom and dad..." He muttered a he came to realise what happened.

Teen Tamako gasped, eyes widening. "W-wait...! Itachi-kun, please...you can't just...!" She stammered, taking hold of the boy's arm. "I'm sorry...I just...I-I wanna go with you..."
