Once they were home Reywind's behavior continued. He didn't make dinner for Tapani, instead he went out and returned with a case of beer and a box of chocolate bars.

"What?" He asked the boy when he caught him staring, tossing the wrappers and cans on the floor. "Quit giving me those looks."

Tapani was still shocked. "Don't you...wanna cook dinner for us, unlce Rey?"

He read in his diary, looking for anything to help him about this situation. But if was no good...If only he had some more information.

Unfortunately for Tapani, Reywind caught him reading the diary. "What are you doing?!" The man shouted as he roughly yanked the boy by the arm. "I'll whip you raw!"

Tapani had never seen his uncle look at him like that!

Tapani's eyes widened, as he was shocked by the sudden outburst. "Please, uncle Rey, let me go. I was only reading."

He did something he think he would never do. He tried to break free from his uncle's arm, using all the strength he got.

Reywind suddenly drew his hand back, and before Tapani knew what was happening he was on the ground clutching his cheek.

Tapani felt the hot burn on his face. It was the first time his uncle slapped him like this. He felt his eyes filling with tears.

"You...you..." Without finishing his sentece, the boy jumped up and ran into his room. He took his desk chair and placed it under the door handle, so it couldn't be opened from the outside.

Tapani threw himself on the bed and buried his face in his pillow. He cried. He was scared. He didn't know what happened to his uncle, but he was sure that the thing downstairs wasn't Reywind. Or at least it wasn't Reywind who had the control.

Surprisingly, Reywind did not pursue him. Even an hour later, he had not tried to open the door, as if he didn't care at all.

After about an hour, Tapani was brave enought to leave his room again. Only on his socks, he sneaked downstairs, listening to any sign of his uncle.

"What do you mean you can't just take him?" Reywind shouted from the kitchen. "I want him gone. He's out of control and I can't deal with him now! Well screw you!" There was a slamming sound, followed by Reywind kicking the door open and leaving.

Tapani listened in shock. 'Just take him?', what does that mean? Is Reywind trying to...send him away?

Ok, that's it. He has to risk it. There is no way this is still his loving uncle. Good thing Reywind left, so Tapani had some time.

He ran upstairs and got his trusty set of lockpicks. There was only one way to help his uncle, and this way was in the cellar. The boy ran downstairs again, picking the lock to the cellar with ease.

He ran downstairs and looked around, until he found the register. The book Reywind listed all his items. There has to be something against posession, right?
