When Hakon came back with the switch, she stretched her hand and grabbed it.

"I am ready... ", Hakon answered simply and wondered whether he should close his eyes. His entire body was tense now and he felt a strange tingly feeling of anticipation in his stretched legs. The boy tried to remember how long it had been since he had gotten the last spanking, it had to be years...
Hakon didn´t exactly look forward to the strokes he would get on the palm of his hands, either. While they weren´t exactly delicate after all the years of hard work they might have been the only part of him that had never been hit in his short life. Even a man like Guthrum knew that hurting a slaves hands was only counterproductive.

The very second that he assured her about being ready, Freja lifted the cane, delivering him his first stroke a moment after, just in the middle of his backside.

When Hakon first felt the cane hitting his backside he clenched his teeth, stoppting himself from crying out. He wanted to take his punishment bravely and possibly make Freya proud, but she sure made it hard.
After about a dozen smacks with the switch however he can no longer remain stoic. Even a few tears where showing as he moaned in pain for the first time. "When... are we... done?", Hakon asked in between smacks, soon he would no longer be able to take it anymore.

Freja went on with the punishment, whipping his buttocks for a few minutes, energetically.

She actually felt really bad, having to do that, but she knew that she had to prove to be severe, talking of discipline.
That first time was crucial, to both of them.

So, when the boy asked his question, she just gave him another swat.

-When i say so, Hakon. You better save your breath, you will need it all, before i will let you stand up.- the woman said, sternly.

She was waiting for a good cry and some promises of a better behaviour, of course.

Alltough Hakon was expressing his pain loudly at this point he could take quite a whupping. Getting him to cry like Freya wanted to see it proved to be quite the task, but after another five minutes, which were agonizing for both of them, Hakon at last lost his self control. "M-mother...", he pleaded,"Please stop! I promise, I promise I will never ride a horse without your permission again." He tried to rubb the tears coming out of his red rimmed eyes away, but they were real waterfalls now. The boy felt rather ashamed of himself due to that. Later someone would have to comfort him.

Freja stopped almost immediately when the kid let it out his plea for mercy, giving him one last and energetic stroke, just on his sit spot, between the cheeks and the thighs.

-I really hope so, lad.- she said, forcing herself to sound angry and disappointed -Now, stand up. You can rub your bottom a little, if you want...but then i will finish your punishment like i promised you.- she said, holding the switch in her hand -You must understand why am i chastising you. It's not only because i want you to ask permission, Hakon. It's because what you did was really dangerous. I don't want you to keep me worried.-

The woman waited just a couple of minutes, giving him the time to settle down a bit, before releasing a heavy sigh.

-Now...let's get this over with. Show me the palms of your hands, both of them. You will get three strokes on each one and i want you to count them, loud.- she instructed the boy.

Slowly Hakon got up. At first he rubbed his aching behind with both hands, but since that achieved very little he soon focused on his eyes instead. The boy listened to how Freya lectured him, but found it too hard to speak. So he answered with a mere nod. After a while however, he had calmed down a little. At last Hakon stretched out his hands as he had been order. He was ready to count, the last thing he wanted was to get an even harder punishment as a result of his disobedience.

Freja left him spend some time rubbing his surely sore backside, before moving on with the second part of his chastisement.

But at the end, she did ordered him to hold out his hands.

-Good boy.- she told him, since he obeyed immediately, while raising the switch one more time -We're almost done.-

A second later the first three strokes landed over the palm of his right hand, leaving some clear red marks.

It was really hard for Hakon not to pull his hands away during the second part of his punishment. As he had been ordered he counted each stroke. "One... owh, two OUCH, three aw", he monaed as red marks started to cover his hands. It had only been three so far, but Hakon already reacted worse to how Freya beat his hands than when she caned him.
