Elana tried to call after him and protest, but he was already gone. She sighed and decided she'd mull it over during the day.

At the end of the day, Elana stood outside the library, looking around. This was pretty much the one time she'd ever been nervous around there. Still, she'd decided it'd be rude not to at least listen to Bobby.

Bobby arrives just a few minutes after most of the students have cleared out. He liked to see his friends off at the end of the day before tending to his own needs. That was just the kind of friend that he was. When he sees her standing there, he smiles and approaches her.

“Well, you made it. I was afraid that you might not show up. Come on. Let's see what we can do to improve those grades.”

He takes the girl by her wrist, leading her off.

Elana just gave a nod at first, then yelped as he tugged her along. "I'm not a child, you know." she pointed out softly, not actually trying to get free though.

"Of course not. What would make you think that you were?"

Bobby pretty much just glosses over her statement, barely even hearing it. He walks her right out to his car, motioning for her to get in.

"I know a quiet place where we can study. You did bring all of your books, right?"

Elana just stood there, looking at him. She had her books, and gave a nod to answer, but it felt odd to just get in the car with a boy she just met. "I-I don't know. I mean, I barely know you." she said.

“That's okay. No one's forcing you.”

Bobby gets behind the wheel and starts up his car. He does so slowly enough, however, that she can easily get in on the passenger side before he's ready to pull out.

After taking a deep breath, Elana comes over and gets in the car with him. "So, where re we going anyway?" she asked after a moment, keeping her books on her lap.

“A park by the river. It's a peaceful place where I like to study. It's secluded, and has plenty of spots to find a place to yourself if you want privacy.”

Flashing a gentle smile to her, Bobby pulls out of the school's parking lot and starts to head towards the municipal park. As he said, it is fairly heavily wooded, and finding someplace for two people to be alone wouldn't be difficult. The park has a reputation, though, for being where the local teens like to make out.

Elana was quiet during the ride, and when they got there, she had to look around in wonder. She then realized they stopped, and quickly grabbed her books off her lap so he wouldn't carry them for again.

Bobby hops out of the car, bringing his backpack with him. He walks around to open the door for her, and then takes her arm to guide her to one of his favorite secluded spots.

“Now, what classes are you struggling with? Obviously, history is one of them. Any others?”
