yeah, kinda hard for normal users to keep up if you dont have a line to the administration and the goings on.. this whole debacle was down to the old hosting being assholes which sadly took time to resolve, Akuma is still working on the various sites and l believe he just got diapered back up.

Regardless of what the future holds, this place is an important part of scene history for a lot of folks. Eighteen years! Remember 2007? I don't think FetLife existed yet... Twitter was barely even a thing... certainly there was no Discord... we had a lot of different websites and forums, mostly full of boring old people who we could kind of relate to but but yeah, no, not really. But this thing was new, and fresh, and a lot of us youngin's and knuckleheads were just so excited to have a little corner of the Internet to call our own, and to create, and make friends, and just explore this kink in our own way.

So if any of y'all long time members haven't donated yet, please consider it! Whether to help with hosting expenses long term, or hell, just to chip in toward a case of beer for a job well done. Just drop Akuma a DM and I'm sure he can tell you the best way to donate.
