Smash Bros: A New Tourney Beginning

It was a beatific calm day, a couple days before a new tournament began to see who was the best. The tournament would be with two people per team this time, so not just raw power and skill would win. It was going to take teamwork to win this tournament.

Currently practice matches were being held for practice to train and get ready for the tourney. Some good practice matches were better than trainings alone because it made the two team members work together well. For now there was on practice match going on that was causing quite a fuss. People were actually showing to watch this one.

It was a practice match between two teams that had a chance to win it all. The first team was Ness a boy with physic powers and the other was a girl named Chole. Chole had blond hair and was the same age as Ness. She was athletic and able to move quite easily. The part that made her famous was she held a sword that could call lightning. It was a terrifying ability put with amazing sword skills.

The other team involved Kirby and one who was just like him. The battle seemed like it would be a good one. The practice match was about to begin.
The two word that got the fighters moving were soon called "Ready.,,,., Fight!!!"

As soon as Kirby bounced into the ring, he waved happily to the crowd, which responded with a positive reaction, then he waved to both his opponents. You'd think that during a practice match like this he'd be a little more serious, but no, outside the ring, Ness and Chloe were still his friends.

But soon a hand fell gently on the boy's head that caused him to stop waving. The owner of said hand spoke. "C'mon don't get so jumpy on me..." Kirby's partner. A long blue haired girl clad in a sky blue sweater, darker blue skirt, a necklace with a star emblem on the front, and orange colored sneakers. Her name was Amaya. "Wave to the crowd from the winner circle..."

Kirby just gave his trademark soft smile and nodded, then he turned back towards Ness and Chloe and nodded as a sign of good luck, just before the match began.

Chole was the same way, they would be freinds no matter what, but that did not stop them from having a good fight. Amaya was a good friend of hers, but she would go all out against her. She gave a nod, but as soon as the match started went straight to Amaya. She would be her opponent in her eyes.

Ness gave out a groan as Chole ran out on her own, it was a team fight team. She would never understand that which is why they really struggled to win in matches. "Hey don't go in a lone this is why we always struggle."

Chloe ignored him and went to fight both of them alone. "Get ness Kirby. Amaya is mine." She just loved to fight Amaya they had a good rivalry after all.

Amaya giggled. "Listen to Ness-kun for once Chloe-chan...this is a team effort...!" she remarked with a soft smile. "You know what to do Kirby!"

Kirby smiled and nodded, before both kids suddenly opened their mouths and started a dual suction that was far more powerful than either of theirs on their own. They would take advantage of the fact that Chloe ran in alone and take her abilities to use.

Chole immeaditly felt her abilities being taken she tried to fight back as hard as she could from it happening. It was to no use as they could now use her ability, but they lack the sword. "Ha you still don't have my sword."

Bed hurried over using his physh technique of fire to get the other two away, "Work as a team not alone. We can't win unless we work together."
Chole nodded at that deciding the best idea was to fight them together.

Both Kirby and Amaya jumped back to a safer distance on the other side of the arena. Howver both soon took on physical changes. Kirby's once pink skin became green along with his feet and he dawned a crown of thunder.

Amaya also began to change, her hair, eyes and clothes adopting the same green color. The star on her necklace began to glow and soon a bolt of lightning appeared on it. "Spark!" her hair shot up in spikes, and static revolved around her now.

Kirby took on a smirk. "Poyo, poyo, pooo! (Let's go, let's go, let's go!)" he said to the other two, causing Amaya to grin. "You got the little guy enthusiastic now...this'll be fun..."

Chole sighed as she messed up big time, now her power would be used against her by both of them, "You can't beat me with my own power. I have better control. (Especially with my sword.)

Ness just groaned as Chole getting all defensive again. It was time to fight not talk crap, "Syop talking and prove it then," Ness said starting to show annoyance.

Chole with Ness ran towards the two ready to fight. Chole waited for them to make the first move wanting to see what kind of strategy they would use.

Amaya stood still, seemingly defenseless as she began to charge more energy around her. Kirby seemed to already know her strategy, as the boy engaged both Ness and Chloe on her own while still sticking close to his partner if needed for backup, so it was obvious he was buying time for Amaya to prepare something big.

"Hyaaaa!" Kirby called down large bolts from the sky to hit and electrocute his foes as they ran at him.

Chole gave a chuckle as Kirby used her own techniques against her. Chole simply sent the lighting bolts back at him, "This is my technique. You can't beat me Kirby." Kirby was not the one she was worried about it was her partner who seemed to be up to no good. "Ness I need to handle Amaya."

Ness could sense Amaya was up to something as this was no surprise to him. He could handle Kirby giving a nod for Chole to head straight to Amaya.

Kirby sent them away and gave a smile. "Poyo poyo po! (I can if I try!)" he boasted, but hearing that Ness would be his main opponent made him more confident, they were even more equally matched.

Amaya gave a small smile but she continued to charge her current power, enough where her necklace began to glow. "Alright come and get me..." She said.
