Kirby's eyes narrowed when Amaya began to use her own inhaling ability, but the Star Warrior planted both feet firmly to the floor. He did move only a tad but still persisted. This was not right; she was way out of range. He needed to her closer, so,... yes... in order to get closer, he would have to become the victim only for a brief while! So, he stopped and just outstretched his arms, actually moving to her!

Amaya still kept her mouth open and continued to inhale, but she couldn't help but raise a brow as Kirby willing let himself come closer.

Something was up...in response to this, Amaya changed from a Lightning Cutter to Fire Cutter and stopped her inhale to exhale a wave of fire once Kirby was close enough.

Kirby saw that she was beginning to change her ability and made his move. He jumped straight into the air, with legs stretched to prepare to land. Thanks to the inhaling, it sped him up.

Once behind her, he took out his hammer and then released a swing. However, this wasn't aimed for her spine, but instead aimed for her paddled rear.

Amaya was still blowing fire up until when Kirby was above her and her eyes widened slightly as she saw that the boy immediately took out his hammer.

She turned with her Fire Cutter in hand and classed with the Hammer again. She noticed that the impact point was rather close to her....well...she visibly sighed in relief. She really didn't want to get hit there!

"Grnngh!" he cringed when the hammer came into contact with her newly-changed Cutter, his plan foiled, but he could try to land a hit. His next move was to hold the hammer with one hand, while the other went for the Star Rod.

"Got you this time!"

"Pfft...! Yeah right!" Amaya gave a smirk and jumped back, as she did so she did a slash with a Saber that sent a large wave of fire in the shape of her weapon towards her opponent.

"Y'argh!" Kirby yelped and took a dive, dodging the very Cutter-shaped flame that was sent his direction. "Yah!" Then he sent a barrage of stars at her, swinging his rod instantly afterwards.

Amaya immediately started moving, running to the side as she evaded and jumped over each star he sent his way with mild difficulty. "Tch...!"

But then she decided to change things up, and move in for close range tactics, swapping out her Cutter, for Fighter now, and she made her way closer.

Kirby glared at his attacks were merely dodged, for his Star Rod was his own weapon he loved to use. There was no other choice now, it was to disarm her from the Cutter, and then... he's got a brand new idea.

"C'mon, I'm ready for ya." he said, standing in his spot, before he took a leap. Once over her, he literally swiped the Cutter right from her hands!

Amaya skidded to halt once Kirby jumped and smirked a bit, her Cutter she had set aside was snatched, but she had already donned her Fighter power in midst of approached. "(Vulcan Jab...!)"

Her other fist was already charged up and once Kirby landed she immediately fired off multiple jabs all over his body.
