"Both of you pull down your pants and bend over against the desk," Knuckles said.

Sonic shot back and said, "this isn't fair. We were just talking."

Knuckles grabbed Sonic firmly by the shoulder and forced him to put his hands up against the desk in the bent over position and yanked down the uniform shorts. He held Sonic firmly there, who for all his struggling could not escape. Knuckles raised the ruler up and began to smack Sonic on the backside.

"Why are you being spanked young man?" Knuckles demanded.

Sonic tried for two whacks to be slightly defiant, but then he broke down crying. "I'm sorry!" he begged as the spanking went on.

Knuckles finally let up. Sonic was in tears. Normally, he would have stopped Tails from defending him, but his bottom stung to much to think about anything else. Knuckles still hadn't acknowledged Tails yet. "You were spanked for you attitude as much as for talking," Knuckles said. "Now, back to your desk young man."
He turned to Tails as Sonic pulled up his pants and went sobbing back to his desk. "Perhaps you were the one talking, but did he stop you from it? His attitude was as much to blame as well. Now, bend over Tails," Knuckles said. He looked over at Tikal. Considering her feelings, he wanted to go light on the boys, but he considered also in his heart the world they lived in. It was not one where a smart mouth like Sonic's or and innocent naivete like Tail's would get you anywhere good.

Tails slowly crept up to Knuckles desk. "Please do not do this to me, I can make up for and I do not do well in front of the whole class I get really nervous. I do not think I could handle it." Tails whined.

Tikal thought,but didn't say anything,as she was pretty sure it would be useless.But she did nod to her father after Tails said that,in an obvious sign that she was asking him to forgive Tails.
