"Shadow! Hang on!" Rouge flew up to the hedgehog and grabbed his arm before he made contact with the wall. "I don't get it! The training robots here should all be controlled remotely by the thoughts of the person who turned it on. Unless Arile 64 mentally told it to go beserk and kill him than it shouldn't be acting like this." Rouge said confused.

"O-okay'sniff''" Charmy slowly flew his little self outside where Vector, Sonic, and Tails were waiting.

"So where exactly is the second emerald then?" A flustered Sonic asked Vector.

"Like I said, that kind of info is only left in the hands of the people who have it. In other words since we're not in the military, we don't know where they stashed it!" Vector yelled in a slightly frustrated tone.

"Damn.....there isn't any other way to turn this thing off?" Shadow asked.

"But we do know who have such information...Rouge,or even Shadow might be able to help us...." Espio said as he arrived.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" The robot shot a fast blast at Rouge's wing that hit directy and almost burned it off. She accidently let go of Shadow and the robot then charged at the plummeting hedgehog.

'"Shadow? Maybe... I don't know..." Sonic was seriously pondering what to do. Maybe Espio is right. Tails was feeling a bit uneasy about something though.

"Hey Sonic... do you realize something weird with this scene?"

"Hmm... what is it Tails?"

"This whole mess... a robot came in and took the chaos emerald... but... there is barely any evidence of a break in... the only thing we have to go on is the security camera which is pretty convincing but maybe it doesn't tell the whole story. I mean if it was able to pull off such a clean heist then shouldn't it realize that there was a security camera and destoyed it. But it didn't.... and you know what... I think it did it on purpose..." Tails explained.

Shadow used Chaos Control to teleport himself and Rouge safely to the ground,them took off his restraining rings."Take Rouge out of here...I'll put all my power in a Chaos Blast big enough to engulf all the robot,heart included...." Shadow said.

"Whoever stole that emerald wanted us to know it was a robot that did it... but why?" Tails began to ponder. That's when Charmy started to feel the uneasiness, somewhere besides his still burning butt.

"Um... I don't know why but... I feel really weird all of a sudden... whizzing..." Charmy said looking around.

"Yes mister Shadow!" The G.U.N soldier grabbed the injured bat and dragged her out of the way.

"Normaly when Charmy feels like this,something important is nearby...let us search." Espio said.

"HERE I COME,YOU CREEP!CHAOS.....BLAST!!!!" Shadow yelled,completly obliterating the robot.

"WAIT ESPIO! DON'T MOVE!" Charmy shouted as the ground beneath them shook a bit.

Shadow's blast hit the robot dead on and completely ingulfed it.

"AQUIRING CHAOS DATA! WARNING! WARNING! DATA OVERLOAD! DATA OVERLOAD!" The robot shouted. Shadow's blast was too powerful for it to aquire the blast's data. It was overloading.

The robot's heart fizzed and cracked until it exploded taking the robot with it.

"All you reporter people need to bolt NOW!" Charmy yelled at the confused crowd.

"Charmy? What's your-" Vector started before the street below them blew up beneath their feet.

An explosion took place directly beneath the reporter vans area and blasted it and a few nearby cars across the sky. If Espio had moved one more step closer he would've been toast.

"Put me down I'm fine!" Rouge moaned as she flew into the room and on over to the robot wreakage. "Such a strange occurance... she dugg through the robot's remains while the G.U.N medics came in and took Arile 64's dead body away.

"My my, what's this? Hey Shadow I think I may have found something interesting."
