Espio deactivated his invisibility as it wouldn't help him now,as the robots could see him somehow."Dr.Eggman!I should have thought....what are you scheming?"

"Wait! Please don't go! I'm scared... I'll... I'll tell you who it is... just please... d-don't leave." The kid beganto cry a bit. Rouge noticed the security camera move to face Shadow.

"Who me? I'm not up to anything my dear chameleon friend. I was informed by a most gracious host that if I attacked the mall something extremly worth-wild would come my way! However, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't you this host was talking about!" Eggman pressed a little button on his mobile's console and shot a huge red laser out at Espio. Before it could hit a huge fireball slammed into it and caused a miny explosion.

"That was close. You okay Espio." Vector said as him and his fire filled mouth struggled to reach the chameleon.

Shadow looked at the kid."All right....them tell me."

"I sure am....but we have to stop whatever Eggman is planning..." Espio said.

The kid hesitated a bit but decided to try and speak up. The security camera turned to the kid now.

"I was... I was here to take the G.U.N deputy test when... this guy showed up... h-his face was so fierce and serious and he told me to come with him... so I did..." The boy swallowed hard. "He didn't say his name but... he looked like...

The security camera made a small beeping noise that Rouge's excellent hearing was able to pick up on.

"Is that YOU Vector! Now all I need to see is that bumbling bee and the defective detective set will be complete! HOHOHO!" Eggman laughed. He didn't notice that Sonic and Tails were aready inside the mall trying their best to get the people who had survived the missiles to leave.

As if on cue Charmy flapped his way up to and beside Vector.

"Eggman....this time I won't let you get away!" Espio said,preparing to fight.

Now Shadow heard the noise too,but said notthing,letting the kid continue.If anything happened,he would be ready.

"Not that old recycled line again." Eggman snapped his fingers and he flew off of his robot's head while he was in his Egg mobile. "Egg Breaker! Take care of these pests while I initiate a little missle mayhem on he mall!"

The robot complided and slammed it's spiked fist down toward the Chaotix.

"Okay guys! Split up!" Vector shouted.

"He-he looked like... I... just... can't... no... I have to... He was skinny and wore all black! He had a-"

Before the kid could continue the security camera's beeping grew noticabley louder. Before anyone could do anything it shot a huge red laser at the kid's chest!

"He's....dead!Grr!" Shadow growled,punching the wall on his frustation.

"Roger!" Espio said,going out of the way,and said,"If I can only reach his less armored point,his head,maybe I can use my kunai to try to deactivate him!Charmy,I need a ride right now!"

The kid had a blank look on his face as the hole in his chest bled and he fell back on to the ground. Shadow was right. He was dead.

Rouge didn't waste any time flying to the camera and kicking it against the ground. She flew down and took off the chip that was attached to it. "Looks like whoever did this attached the shooting chip to the camera as well. We're dealing with one sneaky bastard here."

"Gotcha Espio!" Chamy picked the chameleon up and carried him toward the robot.

"He is going to pay for this...." Shadow growled.

After Charmy lifted him up,Espio jumped into the robot's head,them opened a bit of his head with a kunai and started to hack on his circuits,trying to deactivate the robot without making it explode.

"Poor kid... hey guys. Take him to where ever you took Arile 64." Rouge said. The Soldiers all complied and took the kid away. "Maybe he was right. He probably should've stayed quiet. So far we have two dead people and no leads as to who did this. This guy was able to accurately kill these two without once getting his hands dirty. It's kinda spooky." Rouge said to Shadow.

The robot started to move all over the place and fire it's laser in random directions. Vector tried his best to hit them all with his fireballs.

Below them Eggman and the spider robots were marching across the inside of the mall and firing at civilains.

"Where's my prize damnit!" Eggman was getting bored.

"Hey Eggman!"Sonic shouted as he crashed himself through a few spider bots before endig his run in front of Eggman.
