Tuik walked back to Nega with Goro barely harmed at all. Meron did the same when he was done with Omega.

Blaze looked down at Silver with a worried look. "SILVER! Wake up! Please!" She shouted before she was shot in the back with an electric blast. She fell forward and collapsed on top of Silver unconscious as well.

Sonic and Marine both turned to face the attacker and were shocked.

"T-Tails... wh-when did you... why are you here?" Sonic asked with his eyes bugging out.

Tails put down his weapon and sighed. "I-I'm sorry Sonic... but I'm no longer your friend... or your little brother..." Tails said loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Sonic....I don't think this is Nega's machine's doing....Silver kept his normal aura of good while he was being controlled,and Tails's aura changed into a dark,evil one..." Tikal said.

"... Yeah... I did." Tails sounded plain and simple as he fired a lighting blast at Sonic and it hit directly. Sonic fell on one knee holding his chest.

"T-Tails... my little buddy... little bro... please... stop this." Sonic asked.

"Sorry Sonic, but I won't." Tails said as he got ready to fire again.

"NEGA! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! USE YOUR MACHINE TO GRAB BLAZE SO WE CAN LEAVE!" Tuik shouted up to the doctor.

All this was too much for Sonic to take in at once. He fainted on the spot after that.

Tails spun his tails and few after Nega. Meron, Tuik, and Goro followed Nega into the Chaos Gate back to the past as well. When they came back to the past the three closed the gate and lifted up the Master Emerald.

"If we want to open the gate again we're gonna have to steal this." Meron said.

"They'll probably find a way back to the past some other way with Silver still there though." Goro said.

"Meh. let 'em! They can't stop us now!" Meron said as they left with the Master Emerald.

"Oh...yes..." Tikal said.After some time she healed everybody.

Even after Sonic was healed he didn't get up. He lied there on the ground doing something he hadn't done in a long time. He let his tears drop as he cried there on the broken street.

"I did fail... I failed as a older brother..." Sonic mumbled.

Sonic was helped up by Omega and they looked around for the portal.

"Where'd the portal go?" Omega asked.

Silver was still a bit disturbed to have been forced to fight Blaze,but he had his old personality back."Probably,knowing Nega's style,they went back and closed the portal,leaving you guys stuck here.But we still can always combine Chaos Control to go back to your time." he said.
