and it came from the kitchen "Bless you Sonic" she said on instinct, when she realised what she just said "Ooops" she covered her mouth shocked.

"Sonic's here?" said Amy in an excited tone. She quickly ran into the house and towards the kitchen.

After a loud scuffle, Sonic walked out towards Michelle....with Amy wrapped tightly around his body. He didn't look happy.

"Don't laugh," he told Michelle.

Michelle watched as Amy rushed off into the kitchen and then a lot of noise "What's going on?" she wondered "what is she doing to Sonic?" she got a bit nervous untill Sonic came walking arkwardly out from the kitchen to the main room with Amy she looked like she glued herself to him the he walked. "What happened?" she asked Sonic

It was a funny sight and when Sonic told her not to laugh Michelle then couldn't help but start to giggle "Sonic you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend she is very pretty" she said smiling at them.

"She's not my girlfriend," Sonic replied through clentched teeth.

"Oh, don't be silly, Sonic," said Amy, apparantly completely oblivious to Sonic's discomfort, "We were meant to be together."

Eventually, she let go.

"So, you must be the little girl Sonic adopted, right?" she asked Michelle.

Michelle being only seven wasn't going to try and begin to understand how two people in a relationship acted together as she watched how Amy acted towards Sonic, even though Sonic didn't look as please as she did. When Amy asked her if she was the little girl Sonic had adopted Michelle grinned "Yup that's me" she then leaned in and whispered to Amy "Sonic just doesn't want me to call him Dad but he is really nice" she then stepped back and twirled "He bought me a new nightie isn't it pretty?"

"Yeah, it is," remarked Amy, "I have one just like that. I think you and I are going to get along just great."

"Great," muttered Sonic, "Well, Amy, you could make yourself useful...Michelle will need some new clothes and you're probably the best judge of that."

"OK," said Amy, taking Michelle's hand, "You wanna come shopping with me? My friend would love to meet you, I'm sure she will."

Michelle giggled and tugged on her nightie Amy seemed really nice, when Sonic asked Amy to take her shopping for new clothes Michelle started jumping for joy "Really? Oh yes that would be really really fun Amy who is your friend?" she asked

"You'll see," said Amy, as she lead Michelle away.

Sonic breathed a sigh of relief, then grabbed the nearby phone.

"Well, here we are," said Amy, as the two arrived at the mall, "Don't worry about the nightie, we'll get you something you can wear straight away."

The two arrived at a clothes store. Immediately, a small cream-coloured rabbit with large floppy ears and a cute expression on her face came up to greet her. She was the same rabbit as in Sonic's picture.

"Welcome to Central City Clothing Store, home for everything you need to look your best for every special occasion," she said, "How may I help you?"

Then...

"Oh, hi Amy." she said, "Sorry, I didn't see you."

"That's OK," said Amy, "I was just bringing my new friend here to get some clothes."

She motioned Michelle.

As they arrived at the mall Michelle was alittle embarrassed as she followed Amy around because she was still wearing her nightie but Amy assured her that they were going to get her some new clothes she could wear right away. Michelle followed quickly behind Amy as they entered a clothing store when suddenly a cream colored bunny came over to them "Hey I saw her in Sonic's picture too" she said as she approached them. When Amy pointed to Michelle she peaked and waved a little nervous "h...hello there"
