Sonic quickly served. Amy managed to collect the ball and hit it back, towards Michelle.

Michelle swung back and was able to hit the ball over the net towards Tails, she watched as the all went back and forth and hit it when it came over to her occaisonally stumbling over a bit.

The game went on for a little while, the ball going back and forth...until Amy suddenly dropped her racquet and pulled out her Piko-Piko Hammer. She hit the ball with it and it flew straight at Sonic, catching him in the tummy and knocking him down.

"Sorry," said the pink hedgehog cheekily, and even Tails couldn't help chuckling.

Michelle gasped and went over to Sonic "Oh Sonic are you ok? she asked trying to help him up.

Sonic hauled himself upright. Although slightly winded, he didn't seem hurt at all.

"Amy, I thought we agreed no hammers," he said.

Amy chuckled.

"Oops, sorry. I forgot."

Sonic gave a teasing sigh.

"That Amy," he told Michelle, "She'll try anything once."

Michelle tried to dust Sonic off as he stood up "So shall we continue playing?" she asked as her stomach started to rumble.

Sonic had heard the rumble and chuckled.

"How about we get something to eat instead?" he suggested.

"Alright" Michelle said bouncing up and down a little excited about Sonic's suggestion "can I have a burger and fries for lunch today Sonic?"

"Of course you can," said Sonic, "I'll go buy the food, you find a nice spot."

And with that, he quickly raced away.

"Come on, Michelle," said Amy, "I'll show you one of my favourite places."

Soon, Amy, Tails and Michelle had arrived near the base of a large tree, on the top of a small hill, with an amazing view of everything around them. The grass was soft, and the wind was virtually non-existant. It was truely beautiful.

Soon, Sonic returned. He had bought the burger and fries as he had promised, some chilli dogs, some mint candies for Tails, some soft-serve ice-cream for Amy and a whole range of different drinks.

"I wasn't sure which ones you'd like," he told the young girl, "so I got you all of them."

"Ok Sonic" Michelle watched as Sonic ran off then she followed Amy and Tails to a larger tree on top of a small hill "Wow this is a nice spot" she siad sitting down on the soft grass looking around. Suddenly Sonic returned carrying a tray of their food for them all, "wow thank you Sonic" she then took a drink and started eating her burger and french fries looking around at her new family feeling happy.
