She gently stroked Michelle's hair, then slowly pulled her up, before giving her a great big hug.

"You shouldn't say that," she continued, "Of course I care for you, we both do. And we'll get that through to you any way we can. Even if I have to me your Mommy for the rest of our lives."

She finished this with a supportive rub of the young girl's shoulder.

Michelle then closed winced and she braced herself for the next smack however when she didn't feel it she opened her eyes and slowly looked back, she saw Amy staring down at her with a hurt look in her eyes as she was holding back Sonic's hand.

She then listened as Amy said "Do you think I would have offered to be your new Mother? If we didn't care, we could just leave you to get hurt. We don't WANT you to get hurt." and somehow began to think back to when she choosen by that foster family and how they treated her the women at first held her hand and said that from now on she was going to be her new mother but as soon as they left distanced herself Michelle unless she had to take her to prove she was still there otherwise she always shouted and had Michelle stay in her room.

Michelle then felt Amy stroke her hair and pick her up off their knees and pulled her into a big warm hug which made tears swell in her eyes however not from the spanking sure she was being spanked but Michelle already felt bad for what she said eventhough she had only know Amy for this one day in this very short time she proved to care about her far more then her foster mother did. After Amy was finished explaining that she would be her mother always Michelle wrapped her arms around her neck and cried into her shoulder "I....I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said it I'm sorry I was bad and threw a tantrum and for doing things that are dangerous I'm sooo sorry!" she sobbed.

Michelle began to calm down a bit as Amy gently rubbed her back soothing her however she clung to Amy not wanting to let go nuzzling against her cheek.

When Sonic put his hand on her shoulder she turned reached out her arm she wanted a hug from them both.

Michelle was relieved that she was forgiven by her new 'parents' Sonic and Amy despite not being with them long she felt she knew by their actions that they loved her, eventhough they scolded and spanked her unlike her last foster parents she could hear the kindness in their words. However Michelle was puzzled she didn't know why she act that way in the first place Sonic and Amy already had put her in time out for playing around like that, infact after she had her lunch she was ready to take a nap when suddenly she had so much energy she didn't what to do with. Michelle saw Tails walking up the hill and stopped rubbing her backside she tried to hide the fact that she was spanked eventhough everyone in the park probably heard her being spanked and if for some strange chance they didn't it was easy to figure out when the looked at her, she walked over to Tails "I'm sorry I scared you too Tails by taking those baloons I don't know what happened to me I was going to take nap when you offered me your drink and the next thing I knew I was all hyped up" she explained trying to make sense of it.
