"Yeah, I guess. Most of the knowledge we have is from Cream. She still lives with her mother, you see."

Michelle listened on as Sonic and Amy explained that any parental knowlege they had they got from watching Cream when she was with her mother "Oh I see I think so Cream is still a little kid like me" she then thought about it some more "but she acted so more more grown up when I met her in the store today I guess she isn't as much trouble to her mother then I have been to you two huh?"

"Err, actually, no," remarked Amy, "You see, Cream was bought up like a princess, with her mother's upmost care and attention. She wanted her to be a true female figure, so to speak, to be the polite individual you saw there. And, most of the time, she quite happily did that, because she'd do anything to please her mother."

"But, you know what kids are like," said Sonic, "You being one yourself. Sometimes, they can't help but push the boundries. And you'd be surprised to learn that Cream does that...reasonably often."

Michelle sighed and looked a bit down 'like a princess.........a true female figure.......huh I guess we are nothing alike after all' she thought thinking Amy believed that Cream was a far better child then she was and hearing that she couldn't blame her for thinking that.

However when Sonic added that like all children Cream also often tested her boundaries she looked up "Really? umm how so Sonic?" she asked

"Oh, just like every child her age or so," replied Sonic, "She'll try to do something, maybe ask her mother, and she'll say "No Cream, I don't want you doing that". Sometimes, she'll just keep on trying to do that until she succeeds, or Vanilla literally has to drag her away."

"I remember one time," explained Amy, "When I was visiting, and we were all having a nice dinner. Cream wanted to have some ice cream, but Vanilla told her that she couldn't have any...she'd just had a pretty big dinner. Anyway, Cream protested and wouldn't stop, despite the number of times her mother said no. In the end, she actually got up from the table and got the ice cream herself, all the while Vanilla trying to tell her off. She actually ignored her long enough to get a spoonful in her mouth." She gave a small chuckle at this.

Michelle listened "Woah did she only get one scoop in before she stopped? I did that once my mom and dad told me I wasn't allowed to have any sweets for a week for not edating my vegetables so I snuck in the kitchen and secretly took the ice cream out of the freezer and climbed on top the fridge and hid up there while I ate as much as I wanted however I ate too much and got a tummy ache" she said sighing heavily "And ontop of that because my tummy hurt I wasn't able to climb down on my own I had to call my parents who them sent me to my room and grounded my for three weeks for disobeying them."

Sonic and Amy exchanged nervous glances.

"Well, actually," admitted Amy, "Cream didn't stop on her own accord. Her mother...sorta did that for her. The instance Cream put the spoon in her mouth, she got up, walked over, picked her up, sat on her chair, drapped her over her lap, and....well....spanked her. For quite a while."

Sonic didn't say anything, instead fiddling with his pizza crust.

Michelle looked at Amy surprised "What?......you mean Cream got a spanking" she then gulped and pushed her fingers together "just for taking a scoop of ice cream" she said nervously "I thought Cream was brought up like a princess and princess don't get spanked for that........do they?" she then wondered if Amy was planning on raising her like Cream was "you would spank me like that for taking some ice cream......would you Amy?"

"It wasn't so much because she ate the ice cream," explained Amy to the best of her abilities, "It's because she ignored her mother when she told her she couldn't have any. If she had put it back before eating it, she might have gotten away with a warning."

"Vanilla raises Cream somewhat strictly," said Sonic, "She loves her a lot, and gives her her full attention, but she doesn't spoil her. And, if she's naughty, that's the punishment she uses. And that's why we did the same to you."

"I have to admit, I didn't know she got spanked until that day," added Amy, "I was most shocked and horrified with what I saw. I wanted to get down from the table and leave....but....well, you know...not polite to leave the table without asking."

Michelle listened on and thought about her parents "Mom and dad were sometimes strict but neither of them ever spanked me for misbehaving all they would do was scold me and send me to my room and if I was really bad they would me their by my ear" she said rubbing the tip of her ear.
