Hi everyone! Newbie to the group here. From a spankee's pov I have to admit I really didn't like corner time the first few times it was used as was adamantly opposed when I was told it wasn't an optional thing. Kinda felt like overkill. But after my spanker took the time to explain to me that (for us at least) it wasn't just an extension of the punishment, it helped me see it's potential for a positive experience. It's nice to have that time to pull yourself together and calm down. My spanker uses it for that as well. Plus I don't just sit in silence. He talks to me about what happened and why and how he hopes he doesn't have to repeat the lesson etc. As for not having your bottom covered? I don't know about others, but I don't wan't mine covered. As a kid I think most of my spankings just ended and then I was left to continue on with whatever I was doing before (or, what I should have been doing if that was the reason for the punishment). I think there were a few 'go to your rooms' after, but I think I usually tried to find a secluded place anyways to calm down or be pissed about being spanked for a reason I deemed undeserving or if I was just mad about having been caught.
