Well, got a nice little surprise from Zenescope. This is the cover for their The Fly #2. http://images.comiccollectorlive.com...3b24c29da1.jpg
Though if I were to choose anyone from their Grimm series or any series, I would LOVE to see Robyn Hood spank Marian. They are just the cutiest pairing even though they are not a couple...at least not yet.

Read Gail Simoneīs Leaving Megalopolis a couple of days ago and there are several refrences to spanking at different points in the story. Sadly I canīt find any scans of these scenes. If you want to buy the comic yourself, be warned, the its really really dark.

Heres is a scene from the authors Red Sonja series in which the She-Devil receives a swat with the flat side of a sword from her arrogant opponent: http://i0.wp.com/www.sofakingnews.co...ed-Sonja-2.jpg

Seems like Simone has a bit of fascination with spanking herself. If only she would have written a spanking scene during her Birds of Prey or Batgirl run xD

Speaking of the Batfamily, a cute little scene from Liīl Gotham:

A surprsing welcome from a cover of one of Big Dog Ink's new comics. Now if only we'd see a spanking IN a story.

Huh. Turns out the artist or one of the artists has an account at Deviant Art. Here is a Limited Edition of the same image.

This is the last refrence to spanking from a recent mainstream comic that I can think of at the moment:

http://www.spidermancrawlspace.com/w...Man28-p.10.jpg

Hopefully I`ll come across a new one, soon.

Does anybody else here know a scene that I havenīt shown in this thread? Would be awesome if you could post it here.

Continuing the trend (because one image is totally a trend) of fiery redheads teaching thugs the error of their ways, we have here a page from the second issue of the original run of the X-Men (from way back in the 60's):

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4c...ew?usp=sharing

Sorry about the blurring along the edges, turns out that big ol' books aren't exactly conducive to scanning.

Also, I shouldn't say this, but I'm going to say it anyway: Fenrir13's image makes me even sadder and angrier than I already am about Peter's love life these days. Ending the relationship with Mary Jane after three(?) decades is bad enough, especially considering how badly they've mishandled it (I could go on for pages about that, but suffice to say ending a three decade relationship could be an awesome, heart-rending, powerful story if it didn't involve deal-with-the-devil, out-of-character BS, and you actually spent a few years laying the groundwork for it first, instead of just springing it cold turkey on the readers). However, these days they've made it worse by replacing her with some OMFG Super-Awesome Mega Spider-Woman!!!!!1111!!!1!! who has been trapped in a box since the start of Spider-Man's career, has never fought a super-villain before, and yet is somehow able to do better than Peter against Electro and Black Cat.

When are comic book writers going to learn that God-Mode Sues do not make up for three decades of character development?

Here is a picture of Wally West (the second Flash) getting a smack on the butt by his father when he was a child:

http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...flash_00_4.jpg

You can find it in Mark Waids Flash#0. (http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Flash_Vol_2_0)

@aka:

Yeah, that story really was one of the most stupid things Marvel ever did. Canīt say anything about Silk, though because I donīt read that much Marvel. However, I would immediately start reading Spider-Men if he and Mary Jane marry again.

First, here's another scene from the original X-Men where Jean threatens someone with a spanking (this time her own teammates!):

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4c...ew?usp=sharing

This is probably my favorite of the spanking references that I've stumbled across, despite hinting at a pairing (F/M) that I'm not a fan of. I think it's mostly because she uses the phrase "take you over my knee." I love that phrase so much (and it's cousin "turn you over my knee"). Easily my favorite spanking euphemism.

@Fenrir13: You're not really missing much. I only recently started reading comic books, starting with some of the X-Men books (All-New, Uncanny, Cyclops, Magneto, and Adjectiveless) mostly because I'm a raging Cyclops fanboy, and I've been eating up the Masterworks.

I've been thoroughly enjoying the X-books, so I figured "hey, I'm almost as big a Spider-Man fan as I am a Cyclops fan. Let's check out the Spider-Man books." I have been very very disappointed. First, the Silk thing is a total travesty. Don't get me wrong, it could be good: Make Silk an eager, but inexperienced rookie whom Spider-Man takes under his wing. Make her a liability at first, as she learns the ropes. Spend some time actually developing their relationship, first as mentor and mentee, then as friends, then as a couple if you want to go there. Have Silk make mistakes, fail, get stomped a few times by more experienced villains, all while Spidey is keeping an eye on her, and helping her grow. Spider-Man didn't start out amazing (Octopus made a complete joke of him in their first battle). He became amazing. Silk should do the same.

Only instead of doing any of that, the two are making out at the end of the issue in which they first meet. Oh, and she can magically create webbing out of her fingertips, is upteen times faster than Spider-Man and has super-duper mega Spider-Sense. And she can take advantage of them so well that she can catch Spider-Man off-guard. Despite living in a box for the past entirety-of-Spidey's-career. Plus, instead of actually taking the time to develop Silk's and Spidey's relationship, they're starting some super-duper Spider-Man event called Edge of the Spider-Verse, and it revolves around all the Spider-Men of the multiverse being some sort of special "totems" that are apparently important to the stability of the multiverse? I hate that kind of "Look at how awesome and special the protagonist is!" stuff. Especially when it gets in the way of character development. Needless to say, I'm seriously considering cancelling that subscription.

In Dark Knight of Camelot Batman gives this Elseworlds Robin a stinging swat with the flat side of his sword when he interrupts Bruce and Alfred while they are talking. Since Elseworlds version of Dick Grayson seems to be a lot more aggresive and impulsive than his mainstream counterpart he definately had it coming

Yeah, didnīt they try to do that with that Alpha kid? What was his name again, Andrew McGuire?xD If only they had given Silk that role and never introduced that character.

Well, Marvel wants to have each of their books leading to their new Secret Wars . So Spiderverse is probably less about making the character seem more important and more about building up that event.

I never uploaded a scan of the Cyclops page, because I didn't have a scanner at the time.

Here it is:

I wouldn't know. Like I said, I only got into (and out of) the book this fall.

Ah yes, the once-in-a-lifetime yearly earth-shattering event that's just a blatant ploy to get X-Men readers to subscribe to Spider-Man books, and Daredevil readers to subscribe to Avengers books. *gag*
