Jamie looked at the phone cord, freshly ripped out of the wall. "Oops," she said. She looked back at kalysta. "It was just an accident. Do you really think Mrs. tusmer will spank me for that?" She looked for somewhere to hide the phone.

She took the phone from Jonathan and walked over to mrs. Tusmer, looking rather like a condemned man oin the way to the gallows. She tiugged mrs. Tusmers skirt. "Uh, mrs. Tusmer. i'm very sorry but i'm afraid i brokeded the phone. I didn't mean to, but we were playing archie-tech and 'Lysta was the ol boss archie-tech and she said I could be the Kalvin and talk on the phone andIgotexcitedbecauseInevergettotalkonthephoneandI 'mreallyREALLYsorrysopleasedon'tspankme!" she said, her speech picking up speed until it was nearly incomprehensible.

Sara walked over and put an arm around Jamie. "She mean she got exited about a game where she would have to talk on a phone witch she isn't allowed at home, so she accidently broke your phone. She is very sorry so she hopes you won't spank her." She translated. "She didn't mean to and I think it's very brave of her to go confess it, don't you?" She asked, giving Jamie a reassuring hug.
