Do we still have those debug items to manipulate your behavior and dominance like on the previous demo?

You won't need them. Everyone has been able to see all of the scenes in the Inn with minimal effort. The new system really eases off on the requirements for starting scenes.

Also, good news is that the bug that a lot of people have been having trouble with was found and fixed. Not in the current version, but it will in the next. The bug occurs if you end a spanking by being too exhausted or spanking them to max damage. The next spanking scene will not load pictures, but the one after that will again.

Can we include an option to skip the part of the sumaki stone tutorial with the little boy without having to skip the entire tutorial (or include a warning that the tutorial will involve the spanking of a minor before we start it)? I REALLY don't feel comfortable spanking (or being spanked by!) a minor. As in, as soon the spanking screen opened up with the boy I closed the game. Then I reopened, clicked through the introductory scene as fast as I could (which was not very fast, curse you RPG Maker!) , then the game crashed when it tried to load the blinking picture (which may have been triggered by all the Z-key mashing), so I had to go through the introductory scene *again*.

On an unrelated note, having a way to skip the (loooong) introductory scene in the inn would be nice, especially while the game is in its early (unstable, save files may not be compatible) phases. This first scene is going to be played a *lot*.

Other than that, I don't have a lot to comment on, though I haven't dug through the inn as deeply as others on here. I like the groundwork you're laying with the date and various stats, and I *really* like giving us the option to select a character icon (black-haired girl forever!).

Looking forward to more.

This is turning out really well!! It obviously shows the fruit of your labor!! I sure am looking forward to updates in the future~!

if you went through the old version, you might have noticed that the main character is also a minor

The beginning spanking scene is beautiful, but I agree that it is very tight, it would be great to be able to skip it when you re-pass

Godspeed Bagool, your game is amazing, and has a lot of detail even in this stage, can't wait for when it's ready.

@aka: That isn't unreasonable. Even though any kids in my game will have a minor role overall to the story and are more of a necessary accent in a world dedicated to spanking, I get that it's a squicky subject for some. To separate that part of the tutorial from the spanking itself would be quite the undertaking, however. I can't think of a quick solution to that aside from replacing the two kids with a similarly aged character, which would still be quite a bit of work. Maybe I should take steps to include a switch at the beginning which would disable all manual spankings of children in the game. I understand that the Inn introduction can be annoying, but if you create a save right after it plays, you should be able to export that save to all future versions, as no real change takes place during that scene. Event the selection on how to handle it only affects your starting stats and the two character's initial impressions of you. I only say this because to skip the intro entirely might be difficult, but I'll see what I can do. My current plans are to add a new character option after each major update to the game, but that could still change.

@Everyone else: I'm glad you all are enjoying what DOES work. Once all of these remaining kinks (pft) are ironed out, the rest of the town shouldn't be that far behind.

Loved the new stuff. One issue i ran in to was when the girl in the pink dress (forgot her name) caught me stealing and i chose to run away. she would continuously start some dialogue that never goes away, leaving the game essentially stuck.

@bagool Honestly, just adding a warning before the player starts the tutorial that it involves the unavoidable spanking of a minor would be sufficient. Then people who get squicked out by minor spankings can say "Meh, I'll figure it out myself." and skip the tutorial.

If skipping the intro is a significant undertaking, then don't worry about it. It's only a minor annoyance, and will become even less of a problem than it is now once the game is finished.

@32167 I thought the MC was 17? In most places in the US at least, that's the age of consent, and some places it might even be as low as 16 (though in others it's as high as 18), and when I say minor I mean "below the age of consent," since we're talking about a very sexual activity.
