Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:

Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

Bagool,
Just caught up on your threads on Patron. I'm not registered there at this time for a few reasons, but can talk about that later. I saw you were considering switching game engines due to the complexity that your working into the game. I haven't done to much in the development yet so I'm not even going to try and comment on that other then I get when you have software limitations on what your trying to accomplish.

Instead of dropping the game cold, and just re-developing under a new platform. Then spinning out a game similar to the current version. Just a thought... Keep the framework and really the entire old game of SQ2, develop on that with the old system which people still really love. The story and plot lines are still there, and you have the really fun systems and quests you have developed already.

Laterally, to that you can start on the new platform while learning it and develop the system you really want. Just a friendly suggestion, which you can totally say CR has his head in the clouds and F.U. I'm in School! LOL

That's the plan, actually CR. I might be misunderstanding, but I'm quite literally trying to just remake the game in another engine. The characters, locations, quests, etc will be all the same. There will be a few adjustments with balancing and such, but not much will change. The issue is that I'm switching because rpgmaker has gotten to a point where adding things is too much of a mess to continue on as things are. Construct 2 is much more clean in how events and things are handled, and I can usually reorganize them on the fly. As things are, I'm learning new things every day with the system, and I hope I'll be able to get something resembling a published demo in a week or so's time.

EDIT
Just to clarify, I'm planning on making a quite smaller, and simpler game (along the lines of SQ I) to both test my own ability in the new engine, and to give everyone some new content which I've been starving them for the last year or so.

I'll keep it in my to do list. I had worked for a long time to make it so that playing as a pure spanker/spankee would be possible, but hadn't considered gender preferences before.

In this version that is all that is available the old version you can get just past the desert town and mountain town

If you're playing the new version, Tungsten is all you can do. If you want to continue beyond that, you'll need to download the old version.
